M. Nystrom, can we get a DIGG Section on the DP?

Would it be possible for the DailyPaul to get a section where either you or we can put important DIGGs together in the same section? That way we can consolidate our DIGGS to one section so no one misses an opportunity for important or Pro-Paul DIGGS? I saw this feature on Bob Barr's website where the section was called "DIGG 4 Barr", and I was thinking it would a great feature to add to this site. Is that possible?

I can't stand the fact that we might get one Ron Paul article on there every week, while all I see are HUFF posts and THInK PROGRESS posts. There two sites are so pervasive on DIGG I feel like I'm in a forest, and those website articles are the mosquitoes.
To be honest has it even helped us get any more pieces on the site than the DP normally does? If the answer is no, then I say get rid of it.
It doesn't matter what we do, that site might as well be Obama's home page, but it's good to give Paul, and Barr some more exposure to the Obama crowd.
I'd advise against. This probably violates Digg policies, too.
I'm going to agree with conza on this one. Someone creating a forum post linking to a Digg story isn't a big deal. But even THAT kind of decentralized behavior brought out a LOT of opposition early last year. People complained and the "Bury Brigades" started rearing their heads.
Digg's policies, as I remember, prohibit organized attempts to Digg articles. Having a little Digg link on your story, or some guy posting the story and recommending a Digg, are OK. But having a section on a major political hub like DailyPaul that is dedicated to bringing people in and getting them to Digg favorable articles would be viewed as organized activity.

Lol... this is just going to piss off Digg even more.. not that I care... it's just that I can see this being abused here.
Epic things are worth getting out there... but overload pisses people off. Huff articles over there are the same thing, people bury now just for seeing a huff article.. and soon it will be the same with RP's name
Apart of the algorithm... is if you only are digging certain articles, consistently, or from one section.... same goes with burying.. you're 'power' of the digg / bury becomes decreased.
Anyway.. I can just see this being used to digg, everything left right and centre... and in the long run, it's going to hurt our best efforts and things that are actually worthy...
What was wrong with the system we had before? it was pretty damn sweet. The worthy kept getting bumped... there was COMPETITION, on the front page to keep it there..
To me this is like creating a specific government agency... centralization.. Lol.. haha anyway... all the best in the efforts, and I hope I'm wrong... (not usually)

I agree with you. I think it's cool to see Ron Paul stuff on Digg with 5 times as many Diggs as everything else but honestly unless it's a Drudge type story or a really interesting unusual story about politics I don't spend much time reading things Dugg.

Yes in NAB... tempted pulling it all out. Internet banking check says its all there, lol.
At least they admitted it and have come clean with the sheets so far... I'm definitely sure all the other banks are in the same fold if not worse.

Yes, the site is running a little faster than it has in the past. There is a lot of content on this site so I understand the delays.
I hate to make another request, but is there anyway can make a banner on the front page (or all the pages for that matter) signifying DIGGS where you can click on the banner and it takes you to a list of all possible DIGGS?
