Middle-East vs. Vietnam

How long were we fighting in Vietnam? 10 or 11 years? I don't know.
But we have been fighting in the middle east for 6 or 7 years now by my count. When will the American people wake up and see that this is nothing more than a war for oil? This only benefits the military industrial complex.
