This U.S. Congressman Refuses To Say Why He Needs Your Money
This U.S. congressman is asking for extra funds $$$ from the U.S. taxpayer but refuses to say exactly for what, he repeats the word "classified" like 25 times in his speech.

I hope people realize this
I hope people realize this is fake/a joke (it's from the onion).
WOW
wow...
Truly, a government of the people for the people, but we don't want any of the people to know what the people want to spend money on...
This absurdity is getting too much to bear...
hahah
It was the Onion...I seemed so real and believable that I didn't even recognize it was a joke!
hahah
got me too : )

One of the funniest things I ever saw
I particularly laughed at the point where he paused to involke the name of "Jesus" in between his "Classified"s. This should be a skit on Saturday Night Live.
The only thing funnier would be is if it passed.
I agree that, keeping in the mind that this bill is being read
in the House (Of The People??), his near-constant invocation of "classified" is fertile ground for parody. I don't know that I would be inclined to laugh if such a thing passed.
According to a few sources on the internet, they claim that HR 8791 is a hoax. ????

It's The Onion
Notice that this isn't CSPAN but Onion-SPAN.
www.theonion.com - Funny stories when people know that its parody, Bad stories when people think that they are real.
Now I feel stupid.
But it felt sooooo real.
The next time the government comes looking for
personal information, perhaps I should tell them that it's "classified" and that I can't reveal it to them for reasons of national security. :)
