I like that last sentance about us....
Its the fight for Freedom that pleases us, not the victory.
Great wariors love great battles...... we are wariors for Freedom, and we feel most alive here, inside the Revolution.....
Niceness wins, ...Niceness always wins, and it feels good to be nice.
Dr. Paul was nice.... may we all be so nice.
Indeed Dr. Paul was so nice, so full of LOVE that the sharpness of his nice verbal spears carries us all into battle....so may your words be as sweet and kind and as sharp as Dr Paul's my fellow patriots....
In Peace & Liberty,
Treg
Don't forget this either, please.

Thank you!
Democrats, Republicans, Americans!
P.S. this is not really about Ron Paul, even though he is one of the major persons in public that is actually standing up and telling people the truth, every American should read the Constitution, it's the Supreme Law of our land and most federal officials take an oath swearing to defend it, but many people don't even realize what it says.
Democrats probably won't be so quick to rush to judgment and will probably actually listen to the message of what is truly going on, but I should have mentioned this for Republicans because it really puts things in perspective with regard to this "crazy guy" Congressman Ron Paul, before Republicans immediately close the video and walk away, watch the very end of the video;
Most Republicans often talk about how great Ronald Reagan was, but what most people don't know is that when Ronald Reagan ran for President in the year of our country's 200th birthday, 1976, Ron Paul was only 1 of 4 Congressmen supporting him.
What shocks Republicans even more is to learn that Ronald Reagan campaigned for Ron Paul.
If in the end, you start investigating and researching the private Federal Reserve bank that controls America's entire money supply in secret and is not accountable to Congress, and central and fractional reserve banking, The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, the U.N. and globalism, and even the history of the Roman Republic in relation to the United States, I'm afraid you're going to be in for many more shocks, it's truly like waking up out of the Matrix (a popular film).
I hope this information helps you make better decisions in life, ultimately resulting in restoring the freedoms our country is losing.

1 of 4 in 1976?
Wow, documentation please.
Listen to Ron Paul
He says it in this video in the debate when he is talking about Ronald Reagan. You do not realize how much people did not like Reagan back then. The GOP did everything they could to keep him out of the running.

Watching the video again to here him say as well...
Great document too!
That document alone shows the difference between Ron Paul and every other congressman.
Willing to spend the taxpayer's money, but not even $100 of their own.
I missed it
but I can watch it at 9! By all the comments it seems like a pretty good showing.
can someone post the beck interview here?
thanks, I missed it :(
What's happening to America?
People will not realize the main problem in America until they actually take the time to do some serious research for themselves, but hopefully this video may open that window for you.
Only a few months ago, I was in the same boat, happily sailing around the tip of a massive iceberg hidden right below the surface, always voting for the Republican I bet would win - mostly out of habit and because I have a military background, minding my own business, keeping in touch with minor issues, but completely oblivious to the biggest issue that is threatening all our freedoms daily.
Eventually we are going to run into that iceberg unless people start to take the time to learn the truth, rather than relying merely on mass media for their information, which only focuses on daily news and events.
The primary cause of loss of liberty is our ever expanding government and it is manifest in the resulting economic situations:

We need to convert Glen Beck!!
He was so good tonight up until the interview with the DEA agent! We should sent him a lot of emails pointing out the illogical nature of the prohibition of drugs...Over time he could eventually become one of the revolution's Mouthpiece!'s! WE NEED TO CONVERT BECK!
Glenn is well-conditioned in the
hysterical conservative mindset that "drugs are evil."
Lighten up Glenn, have you ever smoked some cannabis?
Glenn Beck HAS smoked cannibus
GB had a serious drug problem for allot of years. This probably fuels his attitude towards all "illegal drugs".
Read his Wikipedia page.

Anyone see Sarah Steelman after Ron Paul?
She's running for governor of Missouri and her own Republican party (I know, hard to believe is fighting her). She sounded like a Ron Paul and was beautiful. We the People... 2nd amendment, stop the taxing, borrowing & spending. Thinks people should have their own money to do what they want with it. Ron Paul Rising!
Check her out... they have elections Aug 5
I hope someone youtubed that interview, the womans a hero in my book... she has stomped on so many toes to do the right & honest thing.
I'll vote for her
The state GOP is against her, good enough for me.
I'll vote for her
The state GOP is against her, good enough for me.
she was excellent!
there is hope.
Maybe we'll
.. see her at the rally hehehe
Seriously tho, I was really feeling down today about where we are and she came along at just the right time to give me hope.
Ron Paul Rising!
Enjoyed your post.
The streaming is bad on this
Why am I having so much trouble with the videos on this site lately? Is anyone else having problems? I just want to scream but the streaming is so bad.

Holy Sh*t!
Ron Paul continues to amaze me, and ironically it's actually due to the media suppression because it results in little diamonds of truth being re-discovered every day. I hope the media suppression backfires in the long-run!
I don't usually swear, but this is the best Ron Paul video I have ever seen! And I actually said that out loud while watching this.
I've watched hundreds of Ron Paul videos and I'm only seeing this now? This is one everyone should see, I know that is often said, but this one is pure gold. There may be some odd clips, and it may not have a rockstar song, but it is the message that is the most powerful in this video - the primary cause of loss of liberty is our expanding government and it is manifest in the resulting economic situations.
The end of the video with Ron Paul talking about Ronald Regan was completely suppressed in the media, yet incredibly inspiring - many people are not aware of that, make sure you watch the whole thing or at least forward to the ending.
Just watching...Glenn was getting a little nutty on the
issue of the 13 yr old immigrant working for a US company.
He even invoked the socialist rhetoric of wage slavery...
Plus, I thought there was a thing called right of contract?
I was hoping Dr. Paul would attack him
for that, but unfortunately no. That definitely sounded anti-capitalist.
It's no joke
Being in nutrition I study a lot about the food supply. The fast food industry not only provides food that kills; the meat they supply is from packing plants that employ illegals. The illegals are treated like slaves and undergo all kinds of abuse. There is a book called "Fast Food Nation" that documents all of it. The movie "Fast Food Nation" is a fictional account based on the facts of the book. You should rent it sometime. These people need to be locked up. It is a part of the problem with illegals and should be stopped.
Healthnut4freedom
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
Nothing wrong with employing illegals.
Arresting someone for employing illegals is not something Dr. Paul would support.
As an employer, it's not my fault if an illegal gets across the border and needs a job. Keep him from crossing the border, but don't punish for engaging in a voluntary transaction with someone else.
It's not the employing that's the problem
It's the working conditions. No one should be treated the way they treat the employees. It is like something out of a Dickens novel. That's the problem. The women are sexually exploited and the conditions are extremely unsafe. The illegals are victims because they have no alternative. I don't believe anyone in America should be able to treat people that inhumanely. And all so that we can have a 99 cent burger. It all goes back to, you reap what you sow.
Healthnut4freedom
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
I don't think that's consistent with
the philosophy Paul's movement represents. Dr. Paul is against government coming in to regulate working conditions. These things should be regulated by the market process. If people don't like the conditions at certain jobs, they leave and go to other jobs. The demand to attract workers is what drives employers to improve conditions. Of course if the economy is bad, there is low demand for workers, and therefore no impetus to improve working conditions. But to correct that, you need to lower taxation and spending and economic regulations, so that the economy can improve.
This is nice
in an ideal world. But people have to be informed. Remember the sheep are not informed. You are not informed. If you knew the conditions that the animals and the people have to endure so you can have your 99 cent burger, you might not want that 99 cent burger. So, the market would work, if people were informed. I teach a lot of students and they become informed consumers. But the media will do all it can, because of the lobbyists, to keep us in the dark about this stuff. These companies all have large lobbying groups so they can keep doing the criminal things they do. That, Ron Paul wouldn't agree with. So, the solution is there you just have to be able to access it.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
If someone is willing to work
under bad working conditions, then it means that that is preferrable to not working there. No matter how bad the working conditions, if they're willing to work there, they're benefitting from it. You should be thanking the employer for providing these jobs. Instead of being satisfied that someone created a job where none existed before, and made someone's life better than it was before, you want to push the employer to provide even MORE than the good he has already provided to society. He had no moral responsibliity to provide a job in the first place, but now that he's provided it you want to force more out of him. Something doesn't seem just about that. He's doing more for that person than you are doing, because you haven't created a job.
I think a lot of these people don't have a choice
This is only my impression of the situation, but I think a lot of these illegals are being forced to work to pay off the people that got them across the boarder. They are essentially being forced to work in slave-like conditions. Also, I think they are being paid less than minimum wage or the normal wage for the job. But I could be wrong.
Anyway you slice it the feds need to manage the boarder better. Plus minimum wages have to go. That is clearly a state issue if government should be involved at all.
You are right however. Voluntary associations should not be regulated.
Get off your self-righteous couch
and join the real world. Our Founding Fathers did not fight so that we could violate people's human rights. I don't care what you say. And I can't legislate that they do anything differently. However, money talks. What I am saying is that lobbying groups keep us from being informed of the conditions that the animals (who have no choice) and the people live and work under so that we can have that lousy cheeseburger.
Besides, under current OSHA laws, whether you like them or not that is the law, these meat packing houses should be shut down. Don't you care about anything besides whether it is something someone could get away with or not? And Glenn Beck has all the rights in the world to be screaming about it. He has free speech to talk about what he is passionate about. And how companies treat people is something he is passionate about. And 13 year old boys don't have any choice. They do what they are told. He provides information for the masses so that we can make our own decisions. If he didn't care about a lot of things, he would never have Ron Paul on and most of this country would still be in the dark.

Osha
"Rules and regulations from the EPA, the ADA, the SEC, the LRB, OSHA, etc. terrorize business owners into submission, and those charged accept their own guilt until they can prove themselves innocent. Of course, it turns out it's much more practical to admit guilt and pay the fine. This serves the interest of the authoritarians because it firmly establishes just who is in charge." -Ron Paul http://www.ronpaullibrary...
Limited government means government does not regulate business. It leaves it alone. Laissez-faire capitalism. That's what Dr. Paul supports, and I what I support.
You still don't get it
It is legal to do whatever you want, in the Libertarian world, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. What they are doing is hurting A LOT of people. So it is illegal in your little world, too. And Liberty above has it right. These people are slaves. They were led to believe one thing and got another. It is like the poor girls that come over here because they believe they are going to get jobs as nanny's and it turns out they are forced into prostitution. And these people do have to pay back the exorbitant rates for their trip here. It is all against the law, Libertarian or otherwise.
And, whether you or I like it or not, OSHA is not going away anytime soon so there are rules companies have to follow. If you don't like it, you will have to move somewhere else where it is ok to exploit people and they will take your Libertarian message and send you to jail with it.
Come on, have a heart and quit spouting all this garbage.

I'm not defending slavery.
I'm saying as long as people are free to quit the job, the government should stay out of it.
Question for you quotes
as from seeing some of your posts you seem to be a good thinker.
Would you punish an "illegal" for crossing the border in this situation:
A Mexican signs a contract to work for a farmer in Texas. He is flied in via helicopter that lands on the property. He has not trespassed on anyone's property.
However, the State immigration officials would deport (or are supposed to) him.
I wouldn't punish anybody..
I would allow it under the condition that he could be tightly regulated to make sure he doesn't go anywhere else in the country without explicit permission from other property owners and without using the publicly owned accessways.
OK good
Cause it seems like a lot of people on this site would be opposed to that.
Locked up?

Unless I'm missing something, didn't those workers voluntary choose to work there?

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5,6
I think there is an error in your premise
You are stating that terrible work conditions are a crime even if the arrangement is fully voluntary.
Do you also consider foreign sweat-shops as criminal?
Milton Friedman brilliantly refuted this belief in his Free to Choose Series. He pointed out that not all individuals and countries start at the same rung of wealth. The sweat-shop is a necessary stage that people, and also economies as whole, must progress through.
This isn't India
This is the United States. This stuff is illegal even in your Libertarian world. Remember you can do what you want to do as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else. This is hurting someone else. There is blackmail and rape and a lot of other things that should not happen in a country like ours. Sweat shops are fine in India but tell me you wouldn't want to make conditions better for them, if you could.

OK
The rape is for sure a crime. But that is above and beyond the voluntary contract of employment...
Yea...
I wish he talked about "more important" and larger issues concerning the country and the Revolution...
Glen Beck finally gets it...
....welcome to the Revolution Mr Beck. Its about time.
I think he has finally got
I think he has finally got IT. I really do. This whole show was a revolution! He has said any politician that wants to be honest and true to the American People to call him and he will shine a spotlight on them. This MO governor candidate is fantastic! This show was a great one, and I really think he gets it now. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Will CNN keep him?
'
She was great!
I need to watch this guy more before he gets the boot for speaking the truth...
He doesn't get it
"It" being the revolution.
Having said that, he does get most of the economic issues. But he is a nut on the issues such as civil liberties and foreign policy...
