A person making $10 an hour is not going to pay 50% of their income to income taxes, unless they have substantial "other income". Almost all of income taxes are paid by the top 50% wage earners with the bottom paying virtually zero income taxes.

If a person makes $10 per hour full time would make 20K per year. A family of 4 that makes 20K would pay zero income taxes and would become eligible for an EITC of over $4,000, meaning they could get a refund of $4,000 without paying any income taxes and this would more than offset any fica or medicare taxes. Can you say another form of welfare, that is what the EITC is.

I have never fallen for the trap that the income tax cuts help the rich and not the poor, because in reality, the poor never paid in the first place.
And you have to pay income taxes to benefit from an income tax cut.

Yes, I got on council earlier this year "because Ron Paul told me to". Small fireworks are starting - I now have neighbors going to the meetings along with a friendly newspaper reporter (friendly means: vegan, peacenik, big gov't obama supporter, apparently fair).

While I am only one vote on the city council, the willful ignorance and lack of integrity of the other members is being exposed.

"We" understand that even IF Dr. Paul was a Mason (he isn't) that it isn't the groups you belong to, it's your personal idealistic leanings and philosophy that matter. I'm sure you've paid close attention to Dr. Paul's speaking, he voting record, and his personal philosophies, (just kidding, but there's no tag in a message board) and you've derived this idea from these records.
