Barr steps down from the Libertarian ticket, and is replaced with Paul for Pres, Ventura VP and Barr as Sec of State. Ventura agrees to join Dr. Paul on the republican ticket as VP and if they win in four years they cultivate the Campaign for Liberty as a third party run for 2012 with Ventura as Pres. Ventura will give in to the Rep VP Ticket for the chance to polorize the Campaign for Liberty as a vehicle for a 3rd party force in four years and they will be able to change the foundation of the country through a new republican party (2008-2012). Politics sure make for strange bed fellows. e pluribus unum!

he'll have to demonstrate boldness like never before. Like announcing Jesse Ventura as his running mate. Sure, there are many names you could throw out to be considered, but Jesse is already a big ticket draw, and he shares the same anti-neocon beliefs as Ron Paul, and that's a HUGE start. Plus, Jesse is a tough guy, nobody's going to bully him, or marginalize him. Can you imagine his impact in world affairs. Oh yeah, being a former Navy Seal should give him a little military "expertise" wouldn't you think? Run as you see fit, Dr. Paul, but if the White House is still at the top of your goals, align yourself with a Paul/Ventura Republican position while the DVD4delegates circulates. Many, many Republicans see the McCain/Whoever ticket as doomed, and they may just jump ship for real conservtism.

Regarding the Campaign and the Rally, the cart is being put before the horse with the people arriving at the rather plain Campaign blog site and then being asked to sign up and purchase tickets before even seeing the Rally site.

From a marketing perspective, it would be far more effective if new people to the campaign arrived at the impressive Rally site first, to see the nice images of the Target Center and all the speakers, thereby automatically inspiring them to sign up, purchase tickets, and spread the word.

Having people arrive at the rather bland Campaign blog first will have nowhere near the same effect. It's essentially asking people to sign up and register to buy tickets before showing them what is going on. As a result, many will probably arrive at the Campaign site, see nothing special, and leave never to sign up or return.

Catching people's attention and interest in the first moment they arrive is crucial, and that will be achieved far more easily with the Rally site.

The correction is simple, merely forward the campaignforliberty.com domain to the Rally site, so all those clicking on the Campaign links will arrive at the Rally site first to be inspired to sign up.

Ron Paul is the great uniter, the income tax fighter...the military-supported, defender of the border...the political apathy solution and the champion of the Constitution! Doctor Paul is on-call!

He mentions members of many political parties. I wonder which of the Dems he is going to get and have the distinct impression that Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin may also be invited to speak, if Jesse Ventura will be speaking. And hopefully also more within the GOP, someone like Mark Sanford? and others. If Sarah Steelman wins her primary, she could also speak, as being the future governor of MO? This will enhance the woman voice as well :-) The African-American candidate against Keith Ellison - Dr. Paul yhas endorsed her also - may also speak, who knows.

What I would love to see at Ron's convention--picture this--
all his delegates are up on the stage in a line and each one says"I vote for Ron Paul"and then they all say" we elect Ron Paul as our president"and get him up on the stage and do some kind of ceremony to appoint him as OUR president.
Something like this would bring the house down!!!!!

We need Jesse Ventura on all the media waves talking up the Rally for the Republic up RIGHT NOW! After all, it's a venue to sell his book

I don't care. Let 'em flip a coin. But it can't be on the Republican ticket, Jesse would never go for that. That leaves the Libertarian or Constitutional ticket which already has ballot access. One (or both) of those teams (Barr's or Baldwin"s) would have to step aside for the Country's sake and make way for the historical shift in course of the US. This is almost equally as big an event in our history as the founding of our nation and it is within reach. Jesse and Dr. Ron could pull it off. As the old Detroit Tiger announcer Van Patrick used to say in the 9th inning, "Hold on to your Stroh's" .

A nucleus of a movement to re-take this country is taking form. RP, Jesse, Aimee together on a stage...in front of us. The Kuciniches have earned the right to be on that stage too. Republicans, independent, and Democrats joining together. This is something the powers that be never wanted to happen. The Empire of Lies is beginning to crumble. Whatever it takes, we will be there.

How about Dennis Kucinich being invited as a guest speaker? We welcome everyone -- and Kucinich is a fervent believer of the U.S. Constitution and our civil liberties. My or my -- the media wouldn't know what to make of it.

I know many of us want this. I will support him 100% (unless Paul runs at a Republican again)

people love the movie Predator so much --- there should be a sort of Predator reunion at the Rally; (minus Arnold of course). That would get so much publicity. Ventura + Sonny Latham, Carl Weathers, Richard Chavez, Shane Black, Bill Duke etc. should all be invited. That bad-ass Predator music could be sort of a theme song.
