Dr. Steve Parent resigns from revolution broadcasting

I made a decision this week to resign from my positions on www.revolutionbroadcastin...
I will make an official live on air statement tomorrow night at 8pm central - 9pm eastern to explain in more detail.
Many do not understand what it takes and how many hours a day it takes to keep that radio station up and running and we have done this for months and none of us involed have been paid one dime!
The negative attacks on my personal integrity by a very select group of people have also attacked the integrity of www.revolutionbroadcastin... and has become a burden on the radio station and I will no longer allow this to happen.
These same people have made vicious claims against revolution march and some have even tried to encourage you to sue Ron Paul among other things.
Let us just clear a few things up : I have never stolen or scammed anyone in my life and I have never been involved as I have in this revolution for profit in any way, I am a Doctor and always have been which really should have no bearing on anything unless you were my patient but for some it is of great importance as to what type of Doctor I am.
I have said for months that you may not like the people you are working with and they may not like you but we are all supposed to be on the same team and we should all be working together but some just can't do that. Some people that claim to be for this revolution just refuse to work with others even though others have made every attempt to work with them for the better of our cause.
Sometimes you just need to start cutting people loose and actually work with the group of people that will work together and build from there.
For those out there that claim I have scammed you keep this in mind.
When www.revolutionbroadcastin... had people such as : Bob Barr, Wayne Allyn Root, Christine Smith, Chuck Baldwin, Darrell Castle, Dr. Tom Woods, Michael Sheurer, G. Edward Griffin, all day coverage of Revolution March July 12th and RON PAUL himself on revolutionbroadcasting as guests just to name a few, keep in mind this was a figment of your imagination and it never really happened even though you may think it really happened.
It has also been claimed by some that I have been about many different people over the last 9 months such as :
A KKK member
CIA
FBI
Shill for Hillary
Black op
Even a hispanic radio host out of san juan
That is just to name a few
My decision to resign is for the better of this revolution and will also free up my time to work on other positive things for our revolution.
Keep in mind that even though I am gone these same people will now pick someone else to attack and attempt to discredit them just wait and see and then hopefully you will all start to see that these people are not trying to promote information but rather division to this movement.
The station is now in the hands of others and I believe they will continue what we have been doing every day.
I would hope that everyone continues to support revolution broadcasting and work with the great people that have been working to make changes and provide information to all of you.
Now there is much work to do so Get The Job Done!

I dont know Steve but I do know that RevolutionBroadcasting has some great programming on it. For instance, Tom Woods is on every tuesday.
He is a senior fellow at the Mises Institute and a great historian. His books are exellent.
The fact that this Steve fellow may or may not be a doctor is obsurd. The programming that he has created is great.
This is a plea from a fellow revolutionary. One that has done alot of work, without need for recognition, for the movement. I ask, please stop this stupid pandering. Let it go.

To sum it up- No, a SHAD (based on the court report) is not a doctor by definition. It stands for Student Hearing Aid Dealer. It is clearly outlined in Indiana Code. As to whether he got a doctorate or other title after this filing, I don't know nor do I give a shit.
As for the mess in general- People, ignore the guy, delete his posts or whatever you have to do. There is no sense wasting anymore time on this as there is far more pressing matters to attend. Frankly I am sick of skimming through articles here in search of information only to find this damn thing popping up over and over again.
As for SGP- If you're going to go away, then just do it. Don't go away mad, just go away.

If you are a doctor, wouldn't it be in your best interest to proclaim what your a doctor of so anyone in the DP who you may need your services can seek out a "reliable" physician who they can trust?

So what's the deal with this guy
I don't know much about him besides the fact that he was the guy on the radio. What did this fellow do? I tried to google and find out, but I came up empty handed.
After the push for delegates became a little more public..
He showed up, kinda out of nowhere, claiming to be an expert on the delegate process as well as a doctor. And yet had a woefully lacking understanding of the Republican delegate process.
He has used many tactics in the meantime to gather attention for himself, including, hijacking other people's projects and claiming some special knowledge or skill with it.
He argues in an immature way, and throws a number of fits. He also claims to have been a cog in the Democratic party before becoming an rp supporter...
Not that there is anything wrong with converts or "late to the party" people. Devils.Advocate was one such individual which I had a great deal of respect for and did offer himself to projects in a selfless way even if I didn't like all of his opinions... :)
But while you won't see too many people bragging about what they did, all you ever hear from this guy is how important he is, or throwing a fit.
I have never commented on him, one way or another, this is my first. And I still couldn't care less, one way or another. There are people here who like him and think he has done good things, I just don't happen to be one of them.
But I will say this. While I will never post my name on this board, I have had numerous offline communications (calls, emails, etc) with people from here and RonPaulForums, and will always give my real name and phone number to them. I don't post my name here, or anywhere else, simply because I NEVER want to see my name come up in a google search and so I can understand that desire for privacy, but he always refused to give anyone his information. How many people do you know will go on a "radio" show without giving their real credentials? Just seems odd to me.
In any event, don't worry. He will be back in a few weeks with some new attention getting approach and you will get to know him then.

Regardless of what he's done in the past and only going on the merits of what he's done with his attempt to be radio jockey....
He's an egotistical and self righteous type of person. It's not hard to listen to the guy for more than 2 minutes without seeing right through him. It's in his voice, his personality, his demeanor. His past debacles aside, what he has done was attempt to take up a self-appointed leadership position in the revolution. A revolution has no leaders and anyone attempting to appoint themselves as one usually have a egotistical agenda (which would put the affairs of our people right back in the same power hungry hands in which we began).
I was never dumb enough to give this guy one penny of my money. Anyone asking for money as a hand out for personal charity even under the guise of some obviously stupid concept could be considered crooked. It was obvious to me at least from the start that this guy didn't deserve my time or attention. I'm here for Ron F****** Paul not what's his name Parent or anyone else.
I absolutely love the people on the Daily Paul for the constant stream of information which only a dedicated community can provide. I can't stand those that try to purposefully draw attention to themselves and gain personal popularity like some 12 year old saying "mommy lookit". We are all equal but when you try to paint yourself as being more important, better than others, well... that's when your ass is going to get spanked by the rest of the intelligent adults in the room.

I have resigned and the radio station is totally in the Hands of Ray Powell one of the founders and organizers of revolution march and he is a good man and I know he will continue down the path we started and will keep this very important radio network running.
I do not have time right now to answer comments but I will later today.

I appreciate all you have done. I have been attacked myself for trying to support the Revolution. Sometimes it is when you stick your neck out that people will try to take it off. You were attacked because you were a leader, not the leader of the Revolution, but a leader of the projects you pursued. I am grateful that you took charge to get things done, there is nothing wrong with that. Don't forget when you stick your neck out, there will be some that won't like it, and I think it is the people who aren't willing to help take charge that are the ones who will try to take it off. You took it on yourself to take a leadership position, and I think that is great, I wish more of us would try to take some leadership positions, we could get more done. I am shocked by how many mistake taking responsibility, as some kind of ego trip. Keep up the great work.

Everything that you have done has been noted in a spiritual bank account and will eventually be justified. It is understandable how tough it is to volunteer and make sacrifices. .
Anyone who complains of a volunteer who sacrifices his time to help the cause the Liberty probably hates Liberty (with a capitol "L"). I do not know anything about Steve Parent except that he, somehow, has been able to find the time to promote the RP liberty message. That is something that I would also like to do. But I cannot afford the time. That, alone, makes him valuable in my book.
In terms of courts, everyone should read "Chasing Justice" by Kerry Max Cook. He was on death row for 20 years for a crime that he did not commit. If you read that book and still trust government statements about a persons' guilt, then you do not understand the problem that we are trying to solve. There are at least 100 hundred books that I have studied on the issue of litigation abuse and legal ethics. I can tell you that the courts do not reflect the truth...they have banned it.
EVEN if Steve REALLY did get into trouble for a good reason, it did not have anything to do with RP. He was willing to help the cause of liberty. And that is no reason to slander him.
I will take a jail house full of prisoners supporting liberty ANY DAY instead of our entire blinded electorate that keeps voting for government confiscation of my freedom and property.

I would also like to add that I have quite an experience in having been in commercial collections business on several levels and there is always more to the story than appears! Sometimes a supplier leaves the middleman to take the fall and sometimes it is a partner that runs out...but ALWAYS there are customers to cast the blame. I have had personal experience in my own family of things go wrong in business and it is not always as it seems. Steve did not bring on the drama ..it was forced upon him to defend himself at times. I would not ask anyone here to present a background check....actions and heart speak louder than words and I have always found Steve to be striving for positive action. He has done so much and contributed much of his time and knowledge.
I am near my end with negative people that are selfishly, obsessively bent on thwarting any postive project or person out of some sense of anger or revenge or need to be recognized that are willing to sacrifice the unity of this movement.

If Steve Parent is Steve's real name, and it appears to be, then finding out whether or not he's a real doc is pretty easy. Lists of licensed physicians are available.
I couldn't find him on any of these. Pretend on one thing, BS about another thing (like his experience with advertising, his "company", etc. No hard facts, but I was always very suspicious of many of his comments relating to his background and expertise.

The Divisive Energy Behind Steve Parent
I first came into contact with Steve Parent, innocently enough, when I stumbled onto RevolutionBroadcasting.com. I like what I saw and appreciated what I was hearing so I invited Steve to come on our conference call - that very week sometime in late April '08.
I'm a very open and receptive kind of guy. I'll turn the other cheek and keep asking/waiting for only what is good and true from others. I sensed the "ego". I sensed there was some "smoke" and perhaps some "fire" here and there, but that was it. It seemed that this "Dr. Steve" fellow - mystery man from Canada as we later discovered - was at leasdt gaining some traction in a new area - ie. educating the Ron Paul Revolutionary grassroots on the delegate process throughout the country.
The problem was that there just seemed to be a lot of dark spiritual baggage that trailed this guy. All of this came to a head in just the past week and for the sake of the truth there's the obligation to share this information.

I have been in this movement for the past 7-8 years. I don't have time right now to go into all of what I would like to say about Steve in this post, but his decision to resign from RevolutionBroadcasting was the right thing to do. I just hope this isn't another bait and switch job that has him working the same divisive energy in the background while coming back to spread more of the same crap. I have never seen one individual create more havoc and chaos in the past 7-8 years.
I hope we can all rise above this and move into the light of this new day that is dawning in our world. It's time to "Out The Truth" and remain positive and prayerful in the process. I will have more to write later.
