Our man's going to turn 73 on August 20... any celebration plans for him?
On August 20, curiously the day I was born, our dear Dr. Paul was brought into the world and is going to turn 73 this year. He's been fighting for freedom for over 30 years. Curiously, I want to send him money personally. It might take a few days since the Chilean mail is slow. I'm also planning on sending him a personal handwritten letter to him explaining my gratitude. Here's the question: do I send this to the same address as the Campaign For Liberty or not? And would there be any problems if I send him money or not?

Sell out the arena and reach the 100.000!
Do everything possible to
1. make sure the tickets get sold out
2. reach membership goal of 100,000
Best gift of all! This will make him very happy!
We should have another ticket bomb
perhaps.
last year
they had a party: http://eventful.com/texas...
but isn't his b-day on the 26th??????
Dr. Paul's birthday is Aug. 20th
But there will not be a birthday bash like they usually have this year. Dr. Paul's granddaughter will be getting married about that time and then there will be the big Minneapolis event the following weekend and the first week of September. We will miss his birthday party this year as they are huge and fantastic and we always look forward to them.
oops
nevermind
It was on the 20th of August last year
( see here: http://www.dailypaul.com/...) so we can be confident it will be the same this year ;)
I pledge to make a song!
I guess one way to celebrate it is with music. So on that day I will release a song dedicated to Ron Paul, the Campaign for Liberty and our movement.
Peace
P.S. I promise it will not be too bad :)
Does everyone remember the birthday donation last year?
It's hard to believe a whole year has already come and gone.
If you want to send him money for his birthday, do what we did last year. Donate $73 on his birthday for his congressional campaign or for the CFL. or $17.76 if you can't afford the $73...
OMG!!
THANK YOU for bringing this to our attention.
well, we know he likes red wine! we should stock his wine cellar!! :)
A Daily Paul e-card
if we had a savvy computer person design a cute card we could all sign it and Michael could email it to Dr. Paul's office or home. This revolution was unique so too should be Dr. Paul's birthday card. Peace Patriots

Does anyone here know how to set up a birthday card that we can sign...and leave notes..wishing Dr.Paul a Happy Birthday?...
And do you think his office in Washington DC would be the best place to Fax in b/d greetings?
Freedom is another way to God...A corrupt government is a straight way to hell.
How Wonderful
it's very cool that you follow Ron Paul from Chile. is He popular down there? (very curious)
What about
Some sporting events allow you to make happy b-day wishes on their scoreboards for a fee. I think it's a Wednesday night, so most teams will be playing.
hmm... I don't really know
hmm... I don't really know what to do..... I think the best thing we could do is to ensure that we all make the rally as successful as possible. That means be there!
Makes sense. But I mean for
Makes sense. But I mean for us that have our hands tied up and can't be there. I mean, those of us that have some money but, due to other problems, can't afford to get there? You know, like a personal burden (really personal, like a sick family member).
well, if you want to send
well, if you want to send money, I'd suggest donating to the campaign for liberty, and not Ron Paul himself.... it makes more sense.
Maybe you could buy tickets and donate them to the campaign so someone else could go, or help someone else who's struggling to afford to go.
Cool, I'm glad I can donate
Cool, I'm glad I can donate to the Campaign For Liberty! And I'll be glad to send enough for a ticket for someone in the States that doesn't have the money to get a ticket, knowing that it'll be for a good cause. Thanks, avoiceofreason for clearing this up!
You could also
Donate to the Liberty PAC a Ron Paul org. Or donate to operation St. Paul!
