i don't care if he doesn't mention ron paul

and i'm one of the biggest ron paul supporters out there. Ron Paul would want us to know this movement isn't about any individual.

ya know,

I see a lot of comments that Jesse never mentions Ron Paul.

And to be truthful, he rarely mentions Ron Paul, and if he does it is because he is pressured or is asked a leading question.

I like what Jesse says, I have even created videos to get Jesse and Ron Paul on the ballot together, but what Jesse says and what Jesse does has proven to be different.

Jesse must soon make up his mind as to whether or not he wants to join the Revolution, for real, with the zeal, of all of the other Ron Paul patriots.

I am writing this is the hopes that Jesse will read it, and stand up.

Peace

Well you might wanna

Well you might wanna consider writing to his wife then because he doesn't internet, save for ordering a new golf club online on his wife's ISP. As per this interview. Sad really because he's missing out on taking advantage of the internet while it still exists.

"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever." - Thomas Jefferson

Has Ventura ever mentioned Ron Paul?

I've never heard him say "Ron Paul"...or mention the Constitutional movement.

In his book "Don't Start the Revolution Without Me", he didn't mention RP or the RP Rev once...not once.

Well, Ventura will speak at the Ron Paul Rally for the Republic...that is something.

I don't want JV to kiss anyone's butt or anything, but God, acknowledge what is happening! We'd love for JV to be part of it! Heck, we'd love for JV to have a big role in it!

Ron Paul is the great uniter, the income tax fighter...the military-supported, defender of the border...the political apathy solution and the champion of the Constitution! Doctor Paul is on-call!

He mentioned Paul when asked

He mentioned Paul when asked about Bhutto in relation to the debates. "I like what Ron Paul said, isn't that Pakistan's business." Something to that effect.

"I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever." - Thomas Jefferson

He's also mentioned him on his appearance on

Larry King back in April. He liked Ron's phrase "that we just marched in, so we can just march out."

And there was another interview posted on here maybe 2-3 weeks ago where Jesse said something along the line of RP being the candidate who he is most in line with.

Even though

he is a good speaker I think he has Q cards off to his left

What's with the skullett?

The body has got to lose the skullett before the rally.

At least he did not have the dred-lock fu-man-chu I guess.

suspicious body language

I mostly agree with Jesse Ventura, including his views on open borders, but I didn’t like his body language. I’ve seen tweakers who could sit in a chair with less fidgeting. Nervous! Nervous! Nervous! Not a good sign.

Also, starting and ending the interview on a fishing pier and talking about golf clubs seemed to be overdoing the “I’m so chilled out, you could keep a side of beef in me” message. He’s probably in drug re-hab or something, and is just putting on a show for the interviewer.

Commentators in this thread have criticized the interviewer as “annoying” and "smug," but I didn’t see that. He’s a little young – I wouldn’t assign him to interview Putin – but, for interviewing a retired politician in shirt sleeves, he did okay. (FYI: Interviewers are supposed to challenge interviewees – that’s why its called an interview, not a speech.)

Incidentally, if the Venturas are living together, what’s the difference between his wife having internet service and him having internet service? The interviewer might have been young, but he wasn’t so young that he didn’t pick up on that inconsistency in a heartbeat.

Here’s a good question for Jesse: What the hell does being a former Navy SEAL have to do with commenting on the destruction of a skyscraper? I’m sure you know exactly where to place a mine on the hull of a Sovremennyy class destroyer, but that doesn’t make you an expert on skyscraper demolition. There are only a few dozen people in America who have any experience demolishing large (over five story) buildings, and none who have demolished a building as big as the WTC tower.

Maybe 9-11 was an inside job and maybe Venusians zapped the WTC with their invisible mind rays, but I want to see some proof. All I’ve seen so far is empty speculation from people whose entire knowledge of physics seems to consist in having looked up the melting point of steel in Wikipedia.

Personally, regarding 9-11, I agree with Aguilar’s comments in his Devil’s Dictionary. Go to www.axiomaticeconomics.co... and type “World Trade Center” (or just “wor”) into the search engine.

Also, Ventura mentioned that the U.S. was becoming fascist and, on that subject, you might look at Aguilar’s paper, Fascism: Socialism with Shareholders, www.axiomaticeconomics.co...

proof

Just as Ventura, I am careful to say who to lay BLAME when I talk to people about the subject, but there is tons of proof. Physical evidence. Visit http://www.ae911truth.net... and absorb. "Inside Job" or not, there is proof that the government is not telling 100% of the truth. Hence the name of the movement: "9/11 Truth" .... Truth.

shaka...

you are so full of sh*t that the whites of your eyeballs are brown

you should have been on the 100th floor of the wtc on the morning of 9/11....i wish you would have been given the decision to jump or burn

the gene pool could do without your stupidity

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

Tweeker?

food freedom, one seed at a time.

My impression was Jessie was like a kid with a secret, that he can't tell anyone yet! Look at his beaming smile. Maybe he knows something and is just waiting to let it out. Maybe Dr. Paul said "Let's tell everyone when we are at the rally!" I doubt Jessie does "CRANK" Just my opinion.

Nobody thought Rush Limbaugh was

addicted to pain meds either. I like Ventura - I think he's a good man. All I'm really saying is, "keep yer BS detectors up!"

No offense, but a lot of people on this forum seem to be a bit gullible. Now that Ron Paul is out of the race (and he is out, you know), the last thing the libertarians need is for their movement to get hi-jacked. For instance, Mike Montagne (www.perfecteconomy.com) was on this forum for months and I didn't see a lot of people saying, "Hey! Wait a minute! This guy is a socialist!"

So keep yer BS detectors up!

p.s. On reflection, I should have said "he could be in drug re-hab," not "he's probably in drug re-hab."

my "BS" detectors are up with you, jerk!

i see your true colors now, brown eyes...what are you a obama supporter of barr?
move along, sh*t for brains...there is another forum for you across the way

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

Obviously, you took offense

at being called "gullible."

Sooooorry!!!!!!

Try not to let it ruin your day, okay?

RE: Jesse Ventura, a man with a set of steel balls!

The more he speaks the more I like him. He says it like it is, with no apologies. To put in a nut shell, a man with a set of steel balls!

hjschaapman

Great interview

I'm not sure the interview was being smug. He let Jesse answer all of the questions and gave Jesse the opportunity to respond to "would be" detractors.

On the immigration issue, I think one important point is getting lost in the shuffle. Just like a corporation needs to attract top talent, so does a country. Many great companies and inventions were brought into the U.S. by outsiders. We are no longer getting this talent. That is part of the reason that countries such as India are starting to rise. We are no longer attracting their talent to this country. Instead they are making contributions at home. That is the real loss

The story of Tsien Hsue-shen is a story should consider. China wouldn't have nearly its missle and space capacity without this guy. He wanted to contribute his knowledge to the U.S., but we deported him. His only skill was rocket science, so he worked on them in China.

Jesse is a very smart man!

Jesse is a very smart man! his comparing pro wrestling to democrat vs. republican is right on.. why would Pelosi block impeachement? both dems and repugs are in the same bed.. The war could have been stopped long ago if the house had voted not to fund the war.. another good point! this is why I have such a problem with people welcoming kucinich and other socialists to be part of the revolution.. sorry folks but your either onboard with Ron Paul and his views 100% or you better get there! we in this movement are right! Jesse has my vote!

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

Jessie is not on board with

Jessie is not on board with Ron Paul's views 100%

Is anyone?

Perhaps only Ron Paul agrees with Ron Paul 100%.

And that is ok!

Yeah!

called not being a lemming.

Exactly. But what SIERRAHPBT

Exactly. But what SIERRAHPBT is saying, is that Kucinich is not 100% on board with DP's beliefs therefore he should be excluded from the revolution.

My point is, is that Ventura (and many other Ron Paul supporters), are not 100% on board with DP's beliefs as well. That should not be a reason to exclude them from our movement.

it seems

some think everyone has to agree 100% to even make a speech or the revolution goes bad...

I for one disagrees

naomi wolf was good speeking for a certain subject...for example..

but we all should express our opinions.. surely I might be wrong..

Good point

neither am I.

He's pretty close

Jesse has taken the Advocates quiz and he scored right on the top pinnacle.

Though, I don't think he has a solid as of a foundation in libertarianism or economics.
He needs to do some reading on both of those.
Maybe some Ayn Rand to start?

agree...!

there are no dumb navy seals.

even though jesse grandstands a bit and is boisterous, the reason i support him is because he is logical, backs up his data and bucks the system that he knows is crooked. fear is not a word high on his list.

i hope he re-enters politics one day.

Iii...

...don't particularly think the reporter was "smug" here... I agree he seems to be quite capable of that disposition, but there was a lack of interruption here that usually accompanies a true state of pomp. It almost seemed like a real smile was cracking through, for hearing the things he was hearing.

It's not Jesse Ventura's responsibility or any other individual's to save our lives it is our own. When enough of us are ready to put our lives on the line for the greater promotion of liberty it will happen just as it has happened so many times throughout history. JV is devoting a ton of mental energy to the United States and the cause of Liberty, and God save him for that. Thought precedes action precedes results.

He's rough and unpolished but I'd vote for him any day.

We don't need a stronger fence

Just stronger enforcement of the laws extant.
Getting off track, why would any sane illegal alien want to submit their child to the litany of poisons required to place them into the federal brainwashing machine?
I can visualize the free market solving most of this country's problems.
Unfortunately, as the housing bailout makes so blatantly clear, a free market
is considered a quaint notion, by our elected representatives.

But that is just my opinion : )

Jessie Ventura in Phoenix on 9/11/08!

If anyone lives in the Phoenix AZ area (or wants to road trip), we just got conformation today that Jessie, along side with our home town hero, Senator Karen Johnson will be speaking here on September 11th. The venue location for this event has not been chosen yet.

If you want to be kept up to date with more information this event, send an email to me at bennichs@yahoo.com and I will update you as soon as we get more info. ***Your email address will not be put on any mailing lists.***

That interviewer...

is a pencil neck geek. Jesse owned him. He tried to be all righteous... or maybe he's was just playing devil's advocate, but Jesse tore him to sheds either way.

My favorite part:

Interviewer: "So do you identify with the pacifists?"

JV: "Yes. I think war is the complete failure of politics. When politics fails... you have war. Well, clearly politics has failed... therefore you have war."

Duh.

Why can't most of our politicians make sense like this?

Another good part:

"Well, in earlier times I believe we were very much looked up to as the beacon of the free world. Today they're turning our country into East Berlin."

Overall, a very good interview. The only thing I don't agree with is his stance on the border. What is a country without a border?

Damn...that was a damn good interview!

Where is our media? Oh... I forgot, their covering Brett Farve...

Mike
"Fire Team for Freedom" and "Revolutionary Business"
visit www.mikeandjake.com

not ALL of them...

a lot of them are in china covering the smog, tibet, taiwan, the chinese crackdown on religion, etc....see, they have a lot to do that is way more important than our national debt, hunger in america, the collapse of our economy...i mean, they can't be everywhere at once...what is more important to the sheeple?

think about it!

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

Jesse Has it right on

just about everything, except for the borders, I feel he is a little too liberal there.

His heart is in the right place.

I don't agree with him on the borders at this time.
But JV is just getting his education on how tings really run. Once he understands the globalists plans,he will shape up.

LoL

Who was the CEO of Halliburton? Scared the crap outta the reporter! He didn't know what to say!

Oh, BTW, the interviewer is

Oh, BTW, the interviewer is the exact reason I hate the media. He sits their smug like he's smarter and tries to challenge Jesse with conventional wisdom and it's disturbing.

Jesse should have figure four leg locked him right there in the grass!!! Maybe a suplex after for spite!!!

The interviewer challenged

The interviewer challenged Jesse on his opinion about how the world looked at us before 2000 but I thoroughly disagree with his idea of it being romanticized.

Between 1995 and 1998 I traveled around Asia with a backpack, and everywhere I went strangers mentioned 2 names: Bill Clinton and Cindy Crawford and both names brought a smile to the person's face.

I'm not a Bill Clinton fan at all but at least Bill knew what diplomacy is....

Is this the same Bill who signed

Nafta? The same one who sold out his countries manufacturing base? Bill Clinton is a snake. He is CFR. He is NWO scum along with the likes of this current administration.

Ahhhh, I know. I said Bill

Ahhhh, I know.

I said Bill was diplomatic, I didn't say I like the guy.

Why you flaming me, bro?

awesome

"Don't flame me bro!"

I feel a youtube video coming on! haha

Jesse is on Strike

Anyone here read Atlas Shrugged? Her original title was 'The Strike'

This is the impression I got after watching the interview and hearing him at the end talk about golfing. Yeah, so he's going golfing later, acting like he doesn't care. But of course you know he does.

Atlas Shrugged should be required reading

The author, Ayn Rand, teaches you how to think rationally in general and about certain issues.

Somehow her shorter works have made many government school reading lists. So it isn't as bad as the media makes it out to be. Remember, the media industry is so big they must constantly make up one boogeyman after another. Right now it's the econo-boogeyman.

Color me 'not afraid'.

Ron Paul is the great uniter, the income tax fighter...the military-supported, defender of the border...the political apathy solution and the champion of the Constitution! Doctor Paul is on-call!

Man, I hope you're right Michael

I was feelin' a little more punched in the gut with the golf remark.
Hopefully the RFR will give him the loudest welcome he has ever received, show him we mean business, and will be a force to be reckoned with if he runs.
Hopefully he and the good Doc. can get some quality time.
RP has a way of rubbing off on ya.

Lighten Up!

The man has served his country, his family. He's comfortable, free and proud of it. What's wrong with that? Were you hurt that he's fishing too? What you're seeing is a true American. You might want to spend some time with people like Jesse a little more often - there's millions of em!

http://ronpaul.meetup.com...

I,and a few others have been pushing RP/JV for several months.

I was the second one to sign the petition.
I had JV's quotes in my sig.
Myself and a few other forward thinking people were pushing this when many had their thumbs up their asses. You would have known that, had you been paying attention.
Back the fuck off. I respect his decision, doesn't mean I have to like it.

you

heard he smashed the old club.. could indicate some caring ^^

Sad state of affairs...

When al-jazeera conducts better interviews than the MSM.

you caught that, too?

it is a sign-o-the-times, isn't it?
al-jazeera? the bogey man? things that make you go hmmmm...

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

I agree with most of Jesse's views except open borders...

however, while I don't think I'd ever change my mind about illegal immigrants collecting welfare, food stamps, etc (they shouldn't be allowed to)...I'd probably be agreeable to anybody coming here.......if the jobs we lost from NAFTA, etc...were to come back to the USA...people seem to more generous when they are not in a bind themselves, ya know....
