The Unpatriotic list
1- Its Unpatriotic to retire early
2-Its unpatriotic to save money
3- Its unpatriotic to question your government
4-Its unpatriotic to not pay your taxes
5-Its unpatriotic to not believe in Al quadratic or evil Muslims
This seems like a list that is all true close to reality. Maybe it is?
I don't really post here
I don't really post here anymore, but this did remind me of something. In a polsci class i took a couple years ago, we were talking about Social Seucrity and realities of its troubles. Thinking about I kinda under my breath jokingly said we should just outlaw retirement as that would simply remove the problem. After I said it though and thought about it some more, i kinda started to laugh how ingenious that would be if we lived in a society without retirement. In other words, most people don't work to accomplish something. Most work because they feel forced and don't have choice. Most don't enjoy work or figure out what to do with themselves. Retirement is an effect of that sad reality. For example, George Carlin was working till the day he died. Retirement is largely a consequence of unhappiness, whether subtle or obvious. Getting rid of retirement as an aspect of life would force people, in a good way, to be more aware of themselves and life and make better choices. And if you really think about it, the freedom to be dependent doesn't just allow retirement, it actually promotes retirement. The flip side to this is that, while retirement is a part of life, if something like Social Security didn't exist, most old people would be destitute. I loathe Social Security, but it is a dilemma.
you can tell them i was born retired
and so soon as i took one long look at two towers falling in new york after nearly six years of deliberately not doing so.........
i'm 32 and VERY Fing RETIRED FROM THIS SYSTEM.
thanks.
How Do They Know?
In God We Trust!
How would the MSM know anything about patriotism?
What a bunch of baloney heads!
I took the time to read each reply here on this topic and I just want to say well spoken each and every one of you.
This beast must die!
I have not paid federal income taxes for 10 years now. Yes, I have to continue to do battle with the IRS thugs, but that is a very small part of what it means to both stand and fight for the truth.
We will do what we know in our hearts is right and we will never let the wicked defeat us. NEVER!
Ron Paul is my President!
Unpatriotic? I don't know....
Impossible? More likely. At this rate, I will have to drop dead on the job at 81 and let my family eat me.
I may not know the truth, but I know when I'm being lied to...
How come they didn't say
hidden inflation using the phony federal reserve notes is unpatriotic as well!!! How come they didn't say that the social security scam itself was unconstitutional and wouldn't be necessary at all if it weren't for the unpatriotic federal reserve (I can't even give this entity the respect of capitalizing)
PyraBang for Liberty
DAMN SKIPPY IT IS
we owe 9.3 trillion dollars ,,,DIG DEEP EVERYBODY ,,,,lol,,,All together now ,,,,One day older and deeper in debt,,,,I owe my soul to the company storeeeeee
Now I feel bad: Should I have had children?
I haven't had any children. Other peoples' children will have to work for my benefits (actually, I worked for them, but Congress spent them).
All the tax bills that come due in the future will come out of their taxes more than mine. I'm thinking of retiring just so I won't have taxable income.

comments?
Did they remove the comments on that page? I'm not seeing them.
Socialism
This is one of those "for the greater good" arguments. Collectivism at its finest. So I guess it's patriotic to be a socialist now?
Unbelievable!
i read a lot of the comments. I certainly can't add any more to them but you can see that people are angry. My husband is 65 and can't retire. Why? He was self employed and incorporated. They charged him double for SS. He had a very expensive divorce. He had no lucrative government pension. Inflation has wiped out a lot of his retirement while the government pensioners get their big fat checks every month. Government pensioners can retire as early as 50 on up to 100% of their income while my husband gets some measly SS check and has to work the rest of his life.
This system is totally insane and it is going to come home to roost. The workers pay taxes so government pensioners can retire early and they can never retire early. You have to leave the country to be able to retire, if you do not work for the government.

i don't read the bible
but none the less i'm very sympathetic to what you are saying.
and you're right, at least, about the ss part.
i can't get into the whole walking on water thing.
According to whom ? THINK PEOPLE ! READ THE CONSTITU..
WE ARE NOT THE GOVERNMENTS SLAVES. The government is to be governed by the people. READ THE CONSTITUTION ! Do not fall for propaganda being promoted by the msm and the few elitist. Income tax is wrong and forced on the people, however the sheeple continue to complain out of one side of their mouth and talk like sheeple out of the other side. This country is suppose to be a Republic not a Democracy. READ THE CONSTITUTION ! Retirement is a bogus word. People are to be free to live as they choose as long as they do not harm others. READ THE CONSTITUTION ! The USA should be entirely ran by free market and smaller government. Is Government spending do to high taxes? or Is High Taxes do to Government Spending ? READ THE CONSTITUTION ! I find it interesting that all of the so called "specialist and professionals" that are coming out of the closet to be interviewed as with the article referred to above, have been pushing the same corrupt thinking for decades. And look at the state of this country. Do not listen and take to heart the propaganda being dished out. READ THE CONSTITUTION and clean out your government, starting at the local level. EVERY VOTE COUNTS !
Did you send this to MSN?
I think you should....most of us that aren't trolls know what your saying and agree with it. I wasn't posting this to say I agree with MSN....I wanted you guys to know about this douchebag and maybe have a little patriotic fun with the author. :) Happy Thursday.

sorry that went through 3 times. It was an accident.
........:(
Is this for real ?
After reading half way down the first page, I had to check the URL to make sure this wasn't a spoof website.
Were articles like this always prevalent, or are the effects of the matrix just having less and less effect on me? :-0 This article made my jaw drop...
Damn that Neo...
My dad retired in his mid 40's, I now understand why.
Two years from 62 and
Two years from now I will be 62 and planning to retire. It may be selfish and "unpatriotic" but there are things I want to do that I have no time to do when working full time, such as becoming seriously involved in politics!
As the economy continues to tank, I also have to ask myself whether I should be taking a job from a young person trying to raise a family when reaching retirement age offers options. (I do think Social Security will be among the last parts of "The Great Society" to collapse, but collapse it will.)
They really want you to feed
They really want you to feed the fiat money system with your last breath. Work until you die slave! Millions on welfare depend on you!
It's blatant verbicide. Redefining the word and meaning of patriot. That's not patriotic, that's patriotism.

Go shopping
After 9/11, the President suggested that one of our responses should be to go shopping. If we all work longer, we could afford to do more shopping! Its all starting to make sense. The red pill must have confused me.
Crazy propaganda
I think that those planning to retire or otherwise get out of "the system" is about the most patriotic that can be done.....It's yet another way to starve the beast that our FedGov has become.
Early retirement
Down 80 thank you, thank you, for positing the link to the article from MSN. Makes me feel great! I copied it so I can put it up in my office @ home. I am retiring in 9 months or less @ 59. Biggest reason is taxes, I can't fight the dam system but I will do everything I can not to feed it either. I don't care if I end up living in a tent, I'm done with a capital D. I have been preparing ever since I took the red pill about a year ago. I've always known things weren't right but I never realized just how wrong. I'm not concerned with health care, living standards and all that other material bs, I've been poor most of my life. Thank God I know how to do without and how to live simple. I have a very nice home but it doesn't really matter anymore. I just want to get off the wheel and it will be very liberating. Ya baby I'm unpatriotic, love it, now I'm not just a tin hat kook, but I'm unpatriotic too!
I'm glad it made your night
:) I rarely go on those sites....I just check them out lately to see whats going on in crazy land and that was on the front page...I'm glad you are all set up...I am 28 and in debt no fun for me. Good news is that my fiance and won't be having kids because I don't want them to support this government or be vaccinated. We already decided if we have to lose our belongings and home oh well...we have some land in TX close to the Rio Grande already paid for and gold. Good Luck to everyone....grow your own food, invest in solar panels, and retire early. :)
Bravo!
I retired from the wheel at 46, for exactly the same reasons (and I don't even have a very nice home :-)). Living in a tent with a clear conscience is head and shoulders above continuing to feed the very beast that enslaves us. Don't know how most people can live with themselves. As for me, never, ever again......

Propaganda
I rarely watch or read any of the propoganda garbage that the major media companies filter down to us slaves. I only use mainstream media sources for my web site to point out the abuses and corruption by our unconstitutionally "unpatriotic" government. It is "unpatriotic" to pay unconstitutional income taxes. It is "unpatriotic" to use fiat currancy from a central bank (federal reserve) that is unconstitutional. It is "unpatriotic" to pay taxes for unconstituional wars. It is "unpatriotic" to kiss your government's ass. It is patriotic to love your country. Fuck propoganda.

Take Back Your Country!
LOL.
In Europe, they would spin that article a little differently. "Working till you are 90 is good for your health" or something similar.
-"Ron Paul cured me of my predilection for Che Guevara T shirts."
HAHAHAHAHAHA
My father burst into uncontrollable fits of laughter when he read this article. Unpatriotic!!! What a total f**king crock.
Interesting, an examination
Interesting, an examination of the definition of patriotic...
