Not sure if I understand it

I just looked up Georgia and it comes up crystal clear.
I am connecting via Australia.. have no idea if that has got anything to do with it. Using Google Earth.

Sorry to burst your bubble,

Sorry to burst your bubble, buts always been like that. Other countries are like that too. Just check out South America, there are no roads for Argentina, Peru, Bolivia or Paraguay.

If the satellite maps weren't working (they are for me now, just checked) then it would have been a server overload from everyone going 'Hang on, where the heck is Georgia?' and going to maps.google.com to check it out.

Has it always been like that?

I noticed that this weekend when I wanted to learn where South Ossetia was. I thought it strange that they had cities and highways maked for Russia but not Georgia. Have they ever had Georgia cities on their maps?

Not sure but...

I find it odd that they have details about the most remote places on earth and even in their languages and symbols.
I may have jumped the gun and I did the same as you did that's why I went to GoogleEarth the other day (who also has it blocked or whatever) and found it odd that there was very little to see. No pics from tourists or anything. Very strange.

I bet the

US has already built another Vatican size embassy by now.

HAHA!!! Funny.... but not really huh?

Unbelievable what we get ourselves into.
Now we find out that Georgia started it...
I'm sure CNN will cover it though!
NOT!

Well, when you destroy a city you have to update the map,

don't you?
