Update on Carol's surgery

Carol's surgery was successful. We are not out of the woods yet, but signs look very positive. If progress continues, doctors may remove her breathing tube tomorrow. Let's keep our fingers crossed. This is the latest from Jesse Benton.
Carol, we are all pulling for you as you and your family are all in our prayers.

I didn't think the first one was ever going through.
There have been several updates since this.
Carol's breathing tube came out yesterday and they said she's talking to everyone and is getting anxious to get out of bed. However, she still has quite a way to go for a complete recovery but things are finally starting to look a little good. Jesse Benton has updated Carol's condition and Barry Goldwater Jr. sent out a letter also. Carol should be getting out of ICU soon and starting her rehabilitation. We are still keeping Carol and her family in our prayers.

I guess I still don't understand why we need a TX address. I mean - I seconded the idea of sending money to CFL on a certain day instead of flowers (that die and take up room).
And I wouldnt support giving out her address - because the family really needs all the privacy they can get right now.

An official update from the campaign office soon. I do think everything is going as well as expected but we still need someone to comment on it from his staff or family. Let's just keep praying for Carol and her family.
How about a "Flowers for Liberty" Bomb to the C4L
What if we took the money that flowers would cost (not cheap!), and all donated that sum today and tomorrow to the C4L. The big boost in the Campaign's cash could be easily spotted as this "Flowers for Liberty Bomb" and emails could be sent verifying the donations as part of the effort. This keeps the Pauls from being inundated with flowers (which die over time), and supports the cause that they have promoted all their lives -- which will live on into the future. Ideas????

I do believe that
They would have told us where Carol is if they wanted it to be known. I think Carol and her family deserve privacy at this time. All we can do for them is to keep praying.
