Remember Oruval's "hho" post, (make sure you use lower case letters if you reply, using upper case is a trademark violation), Well it got the smart people telling you that you can't because they learned in school you can't? And all the fancy talk telling how dumb we were for knowing the truth.
Well it's out now!
Car manufacturer making cars for sale that makes it's own hydrogen on demand from water and increase mileage by 20 to 40%.

the trouble is....
that hho is troublesome, it is not as easy and convienent as oil is. sloshing is a problem, and the driver has to monitor air fuel mixtures, much like in an airplane. [assumes a retrofit application] a too lean mix will cause the cylinder head to overheat. freezing is also a problem.
oil is an abundant, natural and biodegradeable substance.
oxyhydrogen will find it's place in powering our homes. solar or wind can provide the electricity to power the cell.
when people start disconnecting from the grid, and using less oil. is when the economic problems will start. this revolution has been delayed for a very longtime. who, what and why, I do not know.
there is ZERO reason to believe we are going to run out of "fossil" fuels anytime soon. in fact. Methane [aka natural gas} is most likely what has caused all 9 major extincitions. [including the dinosaurs]

There are all kinds of cars being dumped into the market.
One in particular that I see is the Infinty QX56.
These luxury SUV's get shitty mileage.
But if we took these cars and installed the hho equipment we could rent these cars out cheap. They're going for 20 - 40% less than the retail price. Now we're not selling the vehicles. We own the fleet. This would give us a base to prove and perfect this technology.
I wonder if this being a privately owned fleet exempts the car from all the red tape of selling the car with this equipment installed.
And I'm sure the renters would spread the word.
Incidentally, every web based 'generator' company I've called has not gotten back to me. Seems like they just want to take your money. But no worries. This stuff is fairly simple to produce.

does not come from "fossils" this is simply a fact in the post cassini era. simple math and readily available statistics reveals the truth. there is quite likely more oil on the planet than there is water. the radius of the earth is roughly 6000 miles. the deepest hole ever dug by mankind is 7.6 miles deep. [Kola superborehole] the distance from the top of the highest mountain, to the lowest point in the sea is roughly 12 miles. it is whithin this 12 mile "band" that everything we know of exists.
simple math reveals that there are approximentally 56 of these 12 mile "bands" whithin the first 1%
to suggest that we know what is down there is ludicris.

This kind of company is for Venture Capital. They only expect success about 7 - 10% of the time. But when they hit, they hit big.
I think their stock offering was a bit premature, which tells me something.

All new technology is a big gamble ....
There are literally no less than 20 business models using new technology in the auto industry.
It would be like playing craps.
Unless you have some inside information.
Having said that, I think this particular technology is behind the curve.
Having said that, there is good short term potential for this technology because it does not require new infrastructure.
Personally, I would bet on plug in technology. The battery cars that don't require any gas.
I like it because any new technology is going to be expensive at first, so the demographic that will buy alternative fuel cars will be upper middle class and above. The same demographic that is willing to pay more for more green technology. The plug ins are the greenest technology assuming the batteries can be recycled.
I would bet on Tesla, before I bet on this.

BUT, (being trained in many different motors and theories, Aircraft technician) You leaning out your engine is a great way of saving gas, and also harm your cylinder walls. Fuel is NOT only for combustion, but for lubrication of piston rings to cylinder walls also. Read some testimonials about veggie oils used in diesels. Sometimes the engine seems to FLY, so to speak, without input of gas pedal. The lube with veggie oil is much better than diesel, hence the better performance.
If you want, to read about interesting techniques the germans used, the ME's had water injection for use at HIGHER altitudes to gain MORE power. Of course limited by the water onboard. Heck thats WWII technology if not earlier.
Yes Save on fuel usage, but dont spend your FRN's on buyin new motor's or resleaving/boring them.
I have a reccomendation, retire and buy a sailboat, and SPEND no fuels while traveling. ;)

But remember you are leaning the gas and replacing with hydrogen. Not just merely removing the gas.
I have read about those water injection cars. It's not the same process.
Similar but not the same.
Not everyone has the luxury to get a sail boat but I like where you are going...=]
You really want to know where this could be headed if it's not bought up and hidden away... Plasma Hydrogen converters. I have read reports that cars are getting 1800 miles to a tank of gas from this.

That it was talking about converting water to Hyd to augment the fuel system. Sorry if it came across poorly.
I do not think that Hyd does have the lubrication qualities such as fossil fuel, (CAN BE WRONG) So if you are getting 50mpg out of a vehicle for 150,000 mls before eng overhaul, then it probably would be economical, and good for the environment.
The propane/lpg cars that travel around my country claim that it is better for engine longevity, Dont know if its fact. Def better for the plugs.
NOTE water injection operates better at high altitudes, may be harmful to your car a sealevel ect.

Has anyone gotten anywhere with heating gasoline into a vapor state and cooling it to make density. Read something about a car in the 70's got 375 miles per gallon on this technique. Then mixing with hydrogen .
