CBS News 4 Denver reports: Detention Camp Ready for "Democratic" National Convention Protestors

Reminiscent of the 2004 "Republican" National Convention in New York City when peaceful protesters were unlawfully detained at an old warehouse replete with chain link fence and barbed wire for exercising their First Amendment Right to free speech and peaceable assembly, the city of Denver is preparing a similiar detention center/police state for protesters at the 2008 "Democratic" National Convention.

I'm sure the "Democratic" nominee will be at the forefront decrying this abomination. And if you believe that, there's some nice homes in Baghdad for sale.

The anti-war

On August 15th, 2008 speculor says:

demonstrators will be visiting the DNC as well as the RNC. Cynthia Sheehan will be one of them and she has wont he ballot access against Nancy Pelosi, so it will be interesting. I'm sure they will expose Obama for his extension/swift of the war from Iraq to Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan etc.
Maybe some of them will also be at the Rally for the Republic as visitors, who knows. I'm sure some of the "code pink" ladies will also be among them and that at the Rally for the Republic they will be there as supporters, and not demonstrators. One wonders whether Nader and McKinney will also participate. Bob Barr is going to have an office in Denver during the DNC.

It might be a good idea for local Ron Paul supporters to reach out to Democrats in Denver, also for George Lilly, our GOP candidate with the issues (not party name) and sure there will be "converts" sooner or later. I think there will also be a lot of dissatisfaction with Obama from supporters over the FISA vote, Patriot Act etc.

Hillary CLinton will also be on the ballot. I am not counting out an attempt by Clinton supporters to get her elected. I think this is also one reason why in the FISA bill issue, she originally voted yes (with Obama), and at the end voted no, as this way she may attract some Obama supporters.
