**UPDATE***
I've edited my design.... the most recent version is #151.... It's a bit different... again, the theme for my design is "Waking Up America," hence the 'liberty rooster,' lady liberty's face in the sun, the stars in the red and white stripe rays (the light of liberty), etc....
I wanted to change the text, because although the last version was cool, it's not my own original work (I thought it was something that was for available for generic use, but I don't think so anymore....).
I was thinking about adding a fancier border to the oval.... what do you think?
Otherwise any other suggestions would be appreciated!

One thought... could the Statue of Liberty be a different color? Don't get me wrong.. I really like the color scheme. It just seems the Statue is a bit washed out. I absolutely love the blue graphic of the people marching. Great work!

any combination of colors could be used... I was using yellow for lady liberty's face because it's supposed to also be a rising sun....
I don't know now though, I may have to change my design... The text I used (which I think is awesome), actually came from another person's work (I don't know if they were planning on using it for this or not). Anyways, I thought it was something that could be for generic use... I'm waiting to hear back from them to see if I can use it...
It's a problem though, because my design is probably going to look like a rip off/copy of theirs.... They were also using the red and white rays..... but that's something I took from my design for the website in the last contest.

That is what we used to say in the old days when we liked something. I have another idea A Rooster Crowing " Give me Liberty" "Wake Up America" .
Also, a downsize government shirt little fishes with teeth (that's us) chasing a big fish (government). Oh, and make the little fish look pissed. LOL Humor works, make it funny and you'll sell a ton of them. How about a pig's behind and say "our view of big government" and one with the pig served on a plater with and apple in his mouth " Our government view of us" We need catchy ways of getting Dr. Paul' s message out and if you look at Dr. Paul's platform about free speech, the war, taxes, money, etc. there is a gold mine of ideas to put forth for the public to enlighten them. Transform the world through the t-shirt media. LOL I hope you win. Peace

I love the shirt design man. The only thing that I would change is the Waking Up America font. It's extremely difficult to read. Perhaps make the Statue of Liberty's head a bit larger as well to see what that results in. I wanted to put up some designs but I couldn't ever get the .psd to download for some reason :(

I tried to give a design, but the silly website asks for a password, wouldn't take the one I thought, and NEVER sends you a password even when you put your email in. I was gonna write them, but they seem to not respond..so since I already wasted 4 tries, I gave up.

Honest opinion
My immediate response to your tee was: Imperlialist Japan, red sun rising. My vision for a tee starts with a 4' horizonal bar of vertical bars spaced an inch apart, like jail bars with a silhouette of people in rainbow colors (representing "all people") behind the bars, where from off center top of the horizontal bar, is a golden ray that becomes a cord, which provides an escape into strong wings (I really like the idea of a turkey, like the wild turkey, not Thanksgiving)..the golden cord passes through the talons and forms into a cloud/banner with "LIBERTY RISING". The wings of the wild turkeys feathers would upon closer look reveal words RON PAUL, and the dates and place of the event.
I made a shirt for Ron Paul rEVOLution that you might like the idea.. I took the St Pauli Girl beer lable and replaced the beer steins with US flags and in the scroll I put Ron Paul Girl. I got allot of compliments, and Ron Paul signed mine for me and it was pretty cool to watch his expression when he saw the shirt, he raised his eyebrow and had a very amused look and he smiled sweetley, shook his head and laughed and I have a great memory for my life. One of the greatest moments in my life.

Love the Liberty Rising
I think it is great and I remember in the good ole days there was a beautiful sun rise Ron Paul design that seems to be the original that the Obama people copied for their sun design. I am really hoping that more designs are made without the calligraphy Campaign For Liberty logo which I think is hard to read and is not inspiring. Keep it up! :)
Looks a little familiar
The graphic of lady liberty rising up in front of rays of red and white (with stars splashed here and there) looks really nice...but...I'm pretty sure there's another candidate out there who uses a very similar theme for his campaign, what with a representation of the sun rising up in front of rays of alternate colors. Your design might be construed as a somewhat intentionally copied concept (even if that wasn't the actual case).
Good artwork! Just perhaps a bit too close to the well-known "O" graphic.

I originally created the liberty-sun graphic as the proposed new logo for the Libertarian Party... but in the end they decided to stick with their current logo....
Then I tried using it in the website design contest.... but my design didn't win.... The sun rays/pop theme that I used in that design I've carried over into this one (I've changed the colors though.... now they're more patriotic and there are fewer colors which would be cheaper for making shirts).
Now I'm trying to use it for this....
