First of all this was a long time ago and John McCain was probably shocked that anyone would actually want their picture made with him, or would be waiting outside an event for him. (Still holds true today.) He did not even know what the signs said when he got his picture made, never answered their questions, nor endorsed their message in any way. To say he supports the truth movement is lame.
This is why the truth movement is having so much trouble

I was actually amazed
that Americans would listen to popular mechanics over structural engineers and scientists when it came to structural dynamics and physical reality.
If I wanted to learn how to overhaul my ford explorer ( American Made ) I might turn to that rag but never about anything truly important.
It just once again validated my stance that Americans rely on "popular" things to gain knowledge when they should realize that anything with the label "Popular" is a catch word for "sheep".
