on the crazy Ron Paul supporters. There are some really kooked out Paul supporters that make me feel dirty to be involved in the movement, which is unforunate. When I tell someone I'm a Paul supporter I have to explain that I'm not a 9/11 Truther, I don't believe in "chemtrails," I don't make death threats against the media, and so on. Those crazy people have ruined for the rest of us.
----
Don't blame me if there's no voice for liberty opposing McCain and Obama in the Presidential debates. I donated to Ron Paul Libertarian, Bob Barr's campaign.
When the GOP currently stands for wars, more wars, and wars on top of wars, I can hardly feel clean admitting to being a registered republican. I feel so dirty sometimes that the current leadership of my party is all about killing people and raiding other countries for oil. I also don't believe in corporate welfare, which the GOP just loves. And don't get me started on all the evangelical-pandering they are doing now, stirring up fears about gay marriage undermining society.
Yes, being a Republican can be mighty embarrassing
Who believe we must start a war with Russia and Kill Muslims because..
Russia is "Gog and Magog" and they want to kill hundreds of millions of people because it is "prophesy"..
People who don't believe in Reason and Objective Rationality...But, a fanatical religeous fundamentalism. And that the constitution and bill of rights only applies to those who believe exactly like they do...
Those who ignore the outright lies told by their candidates because they believe what they believe and its o.k. to lie for your righteous cause.
If you don't believe in Chemtrails you haven't had your eyes open. There is a big difference between a jet trail and a chemtrail. All you have to do is look up and see them. Up in the Northwest they cross the sky like a checkerboard.
to feel dirty around Ron Paul supporters. I always just feel intelligent. But then I know the government is implicated in the 9/11 tragedy because I have been studying it since I became friends with people who understood it; and I know chemtrails have been admitted by many governments around the world including ours. Death threats come when people realize they are pushed into a corner; and since not one of the redress petitions was answered, this corner is closing in. Also I don't really think Glenn Beck was threatened by a Ron Paul person. I think it was someone totally different. I also don't think Glenn Beck was referring to people who THINK differently than he does (believe 9/11 could have been prevented, etc.) as the "scary 10%." If you are "afraid of" or "feel dirty" because someone thinks differently than you do, then you must stay in the shower 24/7.
There are supporters in the McCain camp no less "crazy" than in the Paul camp. When I attended my state convention, they booed a disabled Iraq veteran who was running for national delegate because they didn't like what he said about the war. They ignored the chairman's request to stop distributing their slates on the convention floor, which is against convention rules, and even went so far as to tape their slates to the handrails!
I don't apologize for anyone in our camp. All I say is we attract all people who are dissatified for any reason, because Ron Paul is the only one speaking the truth about the challenges facing this great nation.
As for Glenn Beck, he made up some claims Ron Paul supporters were issuing death threats against him just to boost his ratings. Those charges were never substantiated. We just had a local candidate in my house district try to make the same claims against her opponent's supporters. Don't believe anyone who plays the victim to get attention.
HYDROMAN
nomatter what the views of other Ron Paul supporters are I respect their differences and are glad they are with us.
People that make threats against the media or others are not with this movement , they are against it.
I don`t sympathize with Glen Beck , he is a lost soul beating the drums of war for the benifit of the Neocon Globalist. I hope he finds the truth someday.
He has a few good points in this video, the part where he says that he would not associate himself with either Obama or McCain is spot on.
Delegates, if you are bound to vote for McCain in the first round, go take to the bathroom or have a smoke, something just don't do it. Just do not dirty your soul with the likes of McCain. You can vote for Ron Paul in round two when you are unbound. In any event your clean.
Just as Ron Paul did in his appearance on THE VIEW re abortion, Penn took Beck's objection to 10% of crazy RP supporters, and asked him questions in a way that got him to shift his position.
"What percentage of Obama and McCain supporters are scary?" He could have followed up with "If only 10% of Obama supporters are scary, isn't that still a bigger number than 10% of RP supporters?"
I think Ron Paul asked something like whether they would abort an 8 month fetus, and shifted them off the position that the woman has all the rights in that situation.
It takes skill, but asking the right questions can get people to examine their own conclusions.
The battle today is not between conservatives and liberals or Republicans and Democrats. It is a battle between Americans and globalists. ~ Chuck Baldwin
this is huge. others may not understand my enthusiasm, but i know at least 100 people who think glenn knows it all, and watches him nightly so, THIS IS IT!!!!
I told him he should check out Glenn, he's a good guy. But no.. he likes O'Riley (PUKE).
He wouldn't listen, wouldn't listen.
Then one day a "golfing buddy" tells him he should check out Glenn.
Well, he does, and guess which night! Ha! That McCain sheep-follower of a Dad-In-law that I got actually liked the show and say's he will tune in more often!!
I love to be right!
Never surrender. Your story validates our persistence. EVERYBODY has a reason to like freedom and to oppose tyranny. It can be tricky finding it, though. If Glenn helps, then I'm grateful.
Literally!
Did you hear Glenn say, "I hope to send someone to cover RP's event.."

get this on digg NOW!! everytime I try, my computer screen goes grey-hmmmm. THIS is what we need to be digiing people!! THIS is what the sheeples will wake up to because Glenn Beck said it. Who cares that it is Glenn? All I care about is the message!!
If only 10% of Paulites scare people.... McCain is so much more scary... and then the blind people who dont see Obama as a communist... that's scary too...
Of course Glenn Beck hasn't listened to our show! He'd be scared!

Anyone who cares about liberty should be at this event. That's my take. Even if Beck actually said he would vote for Barr, most people thought he said Ron, so I liked the interview..lol

I love Penn Jillette...
He really is a very intelligent man if you can look past the fact that hes a magician...but most Americans can't look past that or his beard.
