I have to wonder how much Ron Paul and the Revolution influenced this. Maybe none...maybe some...maybe alot.
Anyway, US and Iraqi officials have finished working on a draft security agreement that would have all American troops out of Iraqi cities by June 30th. The rest of the troops would be out of Iraq by 2011.

So basically, the US doesn't want to be held accountable for illegally and immorally invading, torturing, and murdering millions of innocent Iraqis. Who woulda thunk it.
If soldiers were actually held accountable for their actions, there would be over 50% less soldiers.

With the billion dollar embassy and a number of permanent US military bases being build in Iraq, this is probably all fluff. I'll believe it when they actually do it.
I think it's actually more likely that the US is attempting to regroup forces so that they can be more effective against any potential action against Iran and/or possibly if there are more problems with Russia.

The neoRAPEublicans are running scared. I suspect the Dems will have controls and way of verification at every polling place in republican states. THERE IS NO WAY that the republicans can win this election, just because of the turnout for the primaries were SO HEAVILY out way the REP.
Then again the elite probably tell the dems to settle down and shutup!!! Dont confirm voting totals.

Certainly could be for show. We don't need many troops there, though, if a puppet government falls in line and follows orders. As for 50% less military if they had to answer for crimes, I expect that is much exaggerated. So many of our troops are reserves, family people, I find that hard to accept, though, yes, some have been abusive. It is amazing what evil actions having absolute power over another human being can produce. I am sure many of the worst abuses, however, were inflicted by or under the direction of civilian contractors and civilian "intelligence" agencies who don't even have the UCMJ to answer to.
