My Dogs! - Just a break in the insanity!

I know this is way off topic, but after the day I have had reading some really crazy depressing stuff (like 8 hours).
I had to feed my dogs and my boy Dingo (you know, maybe the Dingo ate your baby!) every night after he eats - he comes to say thank you by licking my hand, leg or whatever. My other 2 don't do anything but maybe start cleaning themselves, but my Dingo comes everytime to clean me and his sweet little eyes really convey thank you.
I love my dogs! They don't steal, lie, create unconstitional war, kill people etc. They just want to chase the frisbee, swim in the pool and have dinner! They like to cuddle in the bed too! I say "cuddle" and they head for the bed!
Just when I need it, they come to my rescue!

Aren't dogs wonderful! I have 2 that are a Golden retriever mix - Dilbert and Ginger. They are brother and sister but 3 years apart in age. They have the same parents - a golden retriever mix and the neighborhood Romeo - a yellow lab!

Hey, me too. I watched one of the "American Girl series" movies
with my daughter yesterday. I get so choked up :) I think it was 'Samantha.'

I have 2 dogs. 1 female Ridgeback named Juba. She's a whiner, chow hound, sun worshiper, drama queen, killer of small creatures, and chaser/hunter of mountain lions and coyotes. The other a male miniature Poodle named Elvis. Ring leader, instigator, little Neopolian, singer (covers include but not limited Dare-Gorillaz, Freedom-Jarrasic5 ,Way to Long-Taxi Dolls...)

I have three
Sidney - the oldest about 7yrs. a pound puppie who is really the best, healthiest and most wonderful.
Dingo - the middle child who is really my baby. Golden Retriever who lives to run and play.
Savanah - the bitch (no really) who is just like Juba, she is just plain mean, unless she wants to be nice. Also a golden retriever.
Dingo and Savanah gave me 10 babies last thanksgiving and it was one of the best experiences ever.

I have to agree with the article. My dogs share, they take turns - when we are in the car, they take turns perching on the arm rest to suck up the air conditioning and when I say switch they will.
I really had to take a break, I get saturated sometimes and need a break, but today I really got physically sick. My stomache hurts from absolute disgust.

my dog has a sense of fair play , he at least waits till i leave the house before he raids the garbage pail. fair enough :)

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I love my dogs too. They really help when I feel down. I know this all gets depressing and we are learning how to deal with it. We will become stronger in time. It is like a muscle that has not been used in a long time. We will start to become more like our ancestors. Emotionally tougher, realistic, and determined qualities that have been lacking in our culture for some time. We are here for you Peace Patriot.
My dog
Used to eat my socks , one day he was running around the yard with a half digested sock hanging out of his butt. I kid you not!
reminds me of a stray dog in my neighborhood
that used to get into everybodies garbage. One day we saw him with the red ring from a slice of bologna hanging out of his but. Remember when they use to have the red wrappers still on the meat.
