I certainly HOPE these pictures bother some people! Rape is never ‘nice’, and these pictures document the RAPE of a Democratic, peaceful and MUCH SMALLER nation by Russian rapists!

I do not know in detail how this conflict started, but it does seem that Russia intervened to stop a war which was creating upheaval near its border, and to protect people with Russian citizenship who were being killed. I’ve been asking other Americans what they think our country would do if similar things were happening to American citizens near our border.
In any case, photographs can bring home the reality of what has been happening in a way that words cannot.

the interviews with Eric Margolis on youtube (the real news) and also antiwar.com. He also publishes on LRC and is a conservative, describing himself as an Eisenhower Republican and very much against the neocons.
He was very critical of Russia in the past and says in this case, the responsibility is with the Georgian president. He also says the US govt. knew about the invasion before and we know the Israli govt. funded and trained the Georgians, Mossad also involved. The Georgian president of course very strong active in Afghanistan and Iraq, so it all makes sense.

The war was started by Georgia..
They bombed innocent women, children, and elderly people and killed 2,000 civilians, who were russian citizens.
They burned women and children who were taking refuge in churches.
The media will show pictures of the dead Russians killed by the Georgians and say it is Georgians killed by Russians..
It is absolutely a ploy to boost John McCain.
Russia is 100% in the right. Unfortunately they did not storm into the capital quickly and hang the Georgian leader, like we hung saddam for war crimes.
