Grassroots support's finest hour.

This has been a very happy time for me, and probably for you too. The unthinkable happened: Ron Paul raised more money in 24 hours than any other candidate. More than Hillary, more than Obama, more than Rudy, more than Romney, more than anybody.
The press are scrambling to figure it out. They can't believe it.
What is especially satisfying is that Ron Paul was consistently marginalized in the press, even after he raised $5.2 million last quarter; and that Paul supporters were basement-dwelling nerds with no clout or financial resources.
Amazing. Is this a great country or what?

Too Sudden, but just in time!
I've only known about Ron Paul for about a week now, and I wish I would've known about all of this sooner. I actually found out about the whole November 5th thing on November 3rd! =/ I still donated the $100 I could afford, but it was such short notice to get my friends in on it too.
Unlike so many people who post comments about it all, I really do love V for Vendetta. I can't see how you could not -- the message was strong, the action was great, and the whole movie was poignant. I guess if you always want to see realism in every movie, I can understand... but sometimes a film is just meant to tell a good story. Either way, i loved it, and I loved how everyone got together to do this on the 5th.
I wish there could be a second chance for this November 5th thing. It's so perfect -- but it won't matter by 11/5 next year. The only other money bomb I could see is July 4th. I'm sure by then we'll hit critical mass. And I'll have every one of my friends donate (even if I have to buy every one of them dinner!)
Boston Tea Party -- next money bomb
The most important elections are the primaries. So the next money bomb can't wait until July 4. December 16 (Boston Tea Party) is the next likely day. That's the one where we have to get Paul over $12 million for the quarter -- hopefully well over that.
If Paul loses the Republican nomination then it's over. Sure, he could run as an independent -- but that never works here in America. We can write him in as a protest vote, but the media will ignore it. As usual, the public will have the Bilderburg approved Republican in column A and the Bilderburg approved Democrat in column B with no real difference between them, and the press will pretend to wonder why the public is alienated and most stay home and don't vote.
So, I hope you all have registered as Republicans in time so you can vote in the primaries. And we must have enough money so that Paul can buy the ads to reach the people who still get their news from TV. There are an awful lot of them.

I told you this was going to happen.
The Ron Paul websites are already getting jammed from traffic again. And like I said last time during the last upgrade. It is only going to get bigger. Once people start realizing that it is ok to think outside the cage there will be a vacuum.
I think we have what we need to march into the battle.

I agree with you but, now we have another very very important thing to take care of. We need to do whatever it takes to replace ALL electronic voting machines before the republican Presidential Nomination. It would be a terrible shame to lose this well organized "fight". We are kicking ass but we need to all get serious about this major issue.
Let's spread this message around the internet and figure out exactly what to do about it.
I personally don't know what to do, but if we raise the issue online, someone will hopefully figure something out.

Just like becoming Republican delegates for Ron Paul; we should probably get our people involved and volunteering to work at election stations. If we want to win then we have to cover all the fronts.

What about absentee ballots?
Are these any more trustworthy I wonder? If everyone filled them out, instead of voting on the fraudulent electronic machines, then maybe we'd have something. I know Ron Paul will get the votes... but it was Stalin who said:

AAArrrgghhh.... alot of donors are still pouring in money and I think it should be counted - its 10:40 pm on the west coast - and if alot of them are waiting for the last minute like we did on the east coast or *I* did on central standard time, then this day is not technically over yet... I mean election DAY goes until 7pm for each time zone.... why must the money bomb be held to only 24 hours....

I couldn't agree anymore. The last USA time zone should be counted. I don't care if the nov5th website cut off their graphs at the central time or ET...the 5th is the 5th until Hawaii and Alaska are through.
so instead of some reports saying Ron Paul rasied 3,800,000, how about over 4,000,000 because thats what truly was earned.

We are over $252,000 raised TODAY - november 6th- the third largest day was for the Iowa Ads at $160 k!

Breakdown of donor numbers?
Is that individual online contributors only? How do you account for the family teams (e.g. husband and wife) who use one card? Hell, I threw in $50 for the cat because he need cheaper shipping fuel costs on his litter:)

We didn't beat the Demz (the media darlings of 08), but we are not competing against Obama and Hillary yet.
We still have the opportunity December 16th to beat the world record.
BUT we still have really shaken the earth, the Paul-haters are shaking in their boots. Come the primaries we'll spam the votes too!

it does feel like friends. friends getting together, having a block party. everyone showed up with something different. some had 20's. some 50's and a lot had 100's. but at the end of the night, in a year or so, we elect the next president of the united states...

Paul has to win 3 of the first 5 primaries
Maybe it would be good to schedule a December vacation to one of the first five primary states and hook up with the local Paul campaign. Ron has to win 3 out of 5 to have viable credibility going towards super tuesday.

I had a very productive day at work, the Ron Paul campaign had a very productive day BUT B-more had to have a very UNproductive day against Pitt--DAMN! Almost a perfect day....
Well, at least in the back of my mind I know that Pitt won't go to the Superbowl because of NE and Indy so I can sleep better 2night....

I read this in a AP article:
"Paul's total deposed Mitt Romney as the single-day fundraising record holder in the Republican presidential field. When it comes to sums amassed in one day, Paul now ranks only behind Democrats Hillary Rodham Clinton, who raised nearly $6.2 million on June 30"
So the record is just Republican candidates. BUT 35,000 donors in one day is a record, no doubt. We are doing great, guys! Keep up the work and RON PAUL WILL WIN THE PRIMARY, then the PRESIDENT!
