Schiff is holding some investment seminars on 9/3/08
for free. That is what he was referring to, I am sure.
Full week's schedule/options
Does anyone have a well organized list of daily events and stuff? I'm getting in Saturday night, never been in this area so we want to get to all the right things... I heard about the Jaeger club, but I'm really wondering if there is a good single page or thread or something that lists all the different things going on, I've heard of after parties, and all that jazz. There are different marches and whatnot?

speakers. Glad Barb Davis White has a role and if she wins in her congressional race vs. Keith Ellison in November, she can be a great speaker next time.
It is interesting, McCain is working with Ralph Reed now, and Grover Norquist is associating with Ron Paul. Norquist is much smarter and more influential than Reed, so already a great edge there.
Remember to bring a jacket to the Rally for the Republic...
the midwest has had one of the coolest summers in a very long time. it has been getting down in the 50's at night. so all of you southerners be prepared.

Huh. I was hoping you were right. This Alaskan hates heat + humidity. Just heat is fine. But there is a reason I left the midwest many years ago.
I was hoping for the coolness you speak of, but the forecast as it sits right now, for St. Paul, is as follows:
Saturday Night through Sunday Night
Mostly clear. Lows 65 to 70. Highs around 85.
Labor Day
Partly cloudy. Highs around 85.
Monday Night and Tuesday
Partly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows around 65. Highs around 80.
Tuesday Night
Mostly cloudy in the evening then becoming partly cloudy. A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows 55 to 60.
Wednesday
Partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs around 75.
I sure hope all our venues have comfortable levels of air conditioning!

...i live about 8 hours south and east of Minneapolis...it's been pleasantly cool...70's & 80's for highes...50's for lows...Minneapolis has been having 40's for low temps already...
For those that can't make it, what can we do to be 'heard'?
The agenda looks great.
Obviously, not all of us can make the rally. Since this rally is scheduled at the same time as the RNC, one of the point of the rally is to detract/distance ourselves from the RNC...or to protest it.
How can we go about doing that?
-call/email news/talk shows
-wear our Ron Paul stuff
-what else?
Dang, the protestors at the DNC got plenty of notice...and I bet most of us don't even know about these guys.
Many of us Ron Paul supporters and these Dem anti-war protesters should be working together.
It just goes to show that they are keeping us divided...probably here at DP too.
Don't forget to pack these for street action!

says Chuck Baldwin will most deffinately be at the Rally with
his campaign and vendor booth - with literature etc... and 3 corner hat
patriots....
he deffinately would make a great special guest - guess we'll have to

I fully beloieve 110% percent with what you said, but in order to get people to change you have to be excited and passsion about thing you believe in. I would love to go, but I cannot and I wish all those who can in high regard and I hope that it is successful. I hope the message is heard, but they can have a blast and feel satisfied too while doing things. Yes there is a serious to this issues presented before us. I have children and work with children everyday. NO matter what I have a good time everyday, because we could get hit be a car tomorrow. Yes the world needs change and people to open their eyes, but we also need to live.

i'm not in this for any kind of violence born out of hate or frustration. BUT, it needs to be understood by the government...ENOUGH is ENOUGH. for what good is the Rally for the Republic unless THAT point is clearly sent?
