A. It does not keep them safe. It aids in finding missing children. Arguably finding them faster lowers the risk of bad outcomes.

A. It does nothing to prevent abduction. That is the job of vigilant parents. But children wander off, and children are abducted. It is in this time of crisis that the information given to parents is of great importance.

A. I do not think people are dumb. I do know the hard drives are erased at the end of every event.

According to your own website that you give out, there are very few dogs that can even use any of that to track or find people. Besides how does giving that information help keep our kids from being abducted?

This is the same bio-metric information that the Government and the NWO is clammering to secure on all persons in this world, however we as adults see it for what it is, and that AT THE LEAST is a huge bite out of our privacy. We needn't raise the alarm for every little thing that comes along. And keeping current, readily available records of your kids for MIA emergencies is very important.

Moms, dads -- while you're putting together your emergency kits (you are doing that, right?), why not make your own little "Where's Waldo?" kit for each of your kids? Follow the helpful directions below, and create your own collection of data that you keep in your hot little hands. If (heaven forbid) Junior goes missing, I highly doubt the police would refuse your data simply because it's not on an Amber Alert Certified™ CD.

Bonus: you can update your own CD easily enough; will one made at a table set up in front of WalMart be able to match that?

Double Bonus: You make your CD, you keep your CD. Wonder how many gov't employee (and unknown third party) eyes look through those erased (guffaw!) databases and see your kid's picture with address? Surely, there's no one in our gov't who would have a particular side interest in little kids...but if your info is safely at home with you, then there's less chance of such a random happenstance occurring.

As in all things, we can either take responsibility upon ourselves, or allow others to assume responsibility for us. Those who choose the convenience of a service rendered by another party over doing something themselves are free to make that decision. Sometimes convenience is a good trade-off...sometimes, not so much.
