We might be able to get Ventura and Ron on Larry King!
Larry King is currently celebrating 50 years on air, and as part of it he is taking requests from viewers as to who they want to see on a guest.
Let's get him to interview Paul/Ventura at the same time!
So, send a quick email to: larrykingguests@cnn.com
Note: make sure you include Viewer's Choice in the subject line.

I really don´t like larry king or whatever it is called
/Mike
I really am not too fond of
I really am not too fond of Ventura, and hate to see his name linked with RP.
That's your opinion and
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but Ventura seems more Libertarian than RP which is important to me. I didn't buy into RP's campaign because he was a Republican, I bought in because of his mostly Libertarian stance. Ventura goes further and adheres closer to the LP philosophy.
Is anyone writing any emails
Is anyone writing any emails or does nobody want to see Ron Paul win the viewers choice contest :(
This is an easy media score for us computer literate Paulites...
Yes, as long as Larry counts fairly
it should be an easy win for us. However, this thread doesn't seem to be conjuring that much interested for some reason...
I don't get it...we're
I don't get it...we're always complaining we don't get enough media coverage, and this special with Larry King is prepackaged for our movement!

Both of them at one time
Both of them at one time would be a minor miracle. Larry King would implode!

Sure Make the Suggestion
Sure, why not continue the moment to CNN"S Larry King Live. It is also time to do an Interview on Rush Limbaugh and others. Congressman Ron Paul should call-in to the EIB network, I mean the guy reaches the biggest conservative audience of 15-23 million viewers a week.
Slumming
Lol, don't try and get me to talk to corporate media, I cant stand them and will not play their games any more.
We should take any
We should take any opportunity where we have a chance of getting in the MSM...Especially with a viewer's choice contest like this, I know we can win!
C'mon people..let's get one
C'mon people..let's get one of these gentlemen onto the show.

Message sent, thanks for the post.
Dear Larry,
We got gas prices going through the roof, wars in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and talk of war with Iran, Georgia, and nuclear armed Russia. Don't you think its about time to let the American people hear the other possibilities for our future?
I implore you to get Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura on the same night. It would be history in the making. It is my firm belief that these two individuals have a better direction for our country than the Republicans or the Democrats.
Sincerely,
Rich

The pursuit of liberty is addictive... Let's make it contagious.
I have one problem with Jesse Ventura
He lives in Mexico half the year, and now advocates literally an "open border" policy. He said he sees no reason for the separation. This is the one thing that I'm aware of that is completely opposite of what Ron Paul suggests. Our neighbor nations should have the freedom to their type of government, and the freedom to change their government through their own means. Instead of trying to involve ourselves in government-take-from-the-people to feed the world type charity, we should mind our *business*, meaning trade with everyone and protect our borders from foreign invaders. For economic sanity we even need to control the legal immigration rate, and for vigilance over liberty we must educate the new immigrants on the ways of our land to let them understand who we are and what we stand for and what we won't stand for. If for instance we were transplanted to another part of the world and Iran, China, or Russia was on our border, I don't think anyone would be advocating open borders. Heck, if we should have open borders, shouldn't our clone in the middle east Israel have open borders?
It was both Ron Paul's and Ventura's quote --
about "Border Fences locking people out are also really good at locking people in" (I am paraphrasing)
If I'm not mistaken, there
If I'm not mistaken, there are 3 positions to take on the issue of illegal immigration. Open borders, secure borders and closed borders.
IMHO Ron Paul is not against open borders
It's our welfare state that brings in huge amounts of illegal immigration, and as Ron has said we need to change that. From extensive reading of Ron Paul's words, I feel he is all for freedom of movement as long as it is done legally. Ron has also said that he is NOT for building a fence at the border.
Ron and Jesse may not have the same position on immigration, but by no means are they "completely opposite ".
I agree with Ventura for taking the libertarian position
I used to support the conservative position of restricted immigration because I was concerned with illegals bankrupting us by going on welfare.
But my position changed when I came to the simple realization that you can't solve a problem by attacking the symptoms (ie. the 'illegals')--you must go after the root (ie. the politicians' welfare programs).
Yeah, Yep
I wrote it in to 'em
Thank You Mr. King.
DOOOONE!!!!

I know that my following
I know that my following message to Larry was sappy...but my intention is to be somewhat nice and not hammer him for his misdeads.
My message:
Larry,
I've been following your show since I was a kid...still a kid at 36. I want to see Ron Paul/Jesse Ventura on at the same time for your viewers choice. As you may know...Jesse Ventura will be speaking in Minneapolis, MN at Ron Paul's Rally for the Republic.
Larry, these two men speak Truth to Power. Both of them will draw ratings and be good for an real, honest intellectual discourse for this country. This sir is what you have always done. You have brought to us...the American People...different points of view. This is a win/win interview...and they would do it...bring in viewers...our country is in big trouble...help our country! You and others know that we are in deep...provide the forum...be the one to make our fellow countrymen think! Please sir...you have nothing to lose...everything is at stake...we all know it to the very depths of our souls that the country is on the brink.
Thank you Larry for all your years of service in the journalistic profession.
Long Live the Republic,
C. T. Johhson
