But the rabbit hole gets deeper; much deeper. I would like to expand on this in a new thread as to bring more attention to it.
We can discuss the financial and political aspects of the New World Order, which is good, especially for beginners who already have a hard enough time coming to grips with taking the red pill. But you have to understand the SPIRITUAL aspects of the NWO in order to fully understand the driving force behind the generational conspiracy by the psychopathic seed of Satan against us, the sons and daughters of Adam. I bet Dr. Paul knows what going on more than he lets on sometimes, and of course Pastor Baldwin is an expert on the topic. This is a cosmic struggle; ultimately spiritual warfare. We have to understand secret societies and psychological warfare (which they also now wage upon us through the media). Where do they come from? How do they work together? It helps to find out where we've been to figure out where we're going. How does it all fit together? The film "Esoteric Agenda" apparently touches on some of this, but I haven't seen much of the film so I don't know how much subject matter it covers.

I'm not sure I understand your "chasing phantoms" comment, since you mention "unholy conspiracies' in your thread.
Then you have these couple of paragraphs back to back:

Hmm, well, yeah, but. . .
The problem with this is that there are very diverging views of the occult and only one of those views is commonly known, which is the context being used here. Basically, occultism, in this view, is strictly bad and evil and those involved in it are in some way helping the New World Order come into fruition.
If there is one thing I can add to this list is that there are two sides to every story. One thing people don't realize is that because of their pre-existing secretiveness and ritual initiations, occult groups have been infiltrated for use by other groups who have no interest in the occult otherwise, i.e. Adam Weishaupt and the Illuminati who infiltrated the Freemason Lodges. Because of this, people now envision the Freemasons as being this horrible institution that worships the devil, etc.
Having some knowledge of occult matters I can honestly say that my soul is not given over to the devil, and I don't work for the New World Order. Nor do I sacrifice chickens, goats, children, etc. In fact, anyone who does such things are not taking part in real occultism/magick, they are rehashing fundamentalist views as well!
Let's take an easy one: Aleister Crowley. The Great Beast 666. There are so many, many misunderstandings of this man(most especially from the Christian community!) that one could easily write a book on it! Crowley group up in a fundamentalist Christian household and that has everything to do with his disdain for organized religion, the hypocrisy involved in many ways(he was homosexual and would have affairs with some of the local clergy who would have been ruined if found out!). He actually had some good things to say about the symbolism of Jesus and such, but he despised organized religion in all it's forms.
In his diaries he mentions the sacrificing of children which only helped to darken his public image as a nasty devil worshipper! The reality is that in his day, sexual taboos were very prevalent, and what we now consider more common place today was way off limits back then. And so, his euphemism of "sacrificing a child" is actually a veiled term to talk about a magickal ritual that uses the orgasm achieved through masturbation! If you don't "get" that one then just think about it a little harder. . .;-)
So, to reiterate, not everything that sounds plausible is actually true. I used to by into the occultism=evil myths myself until I learned a thing or two. I'm not saying that everything on that list is misunderstood, there are things like the CFR, Zionism, the Mafia, and Skull n Bones which are no doubt black marks on the human experience, but much of that list contains things that are largely misunderstood by MOST people.
I really don't have any illusions that I might actually get anyone to believe or understand what I'm saying, it's just that when I see such glaring inaccuracies I gotta say something!
Just keep in mind that not everyone shares the same views of the universe, so while most occultists don't subscribe to Christian beliefs, they are not bad people hellbent on bloodsucking their way to a New World Order.

My sister got into Wicca at the behest of her boyfreind, but I do not think she's evil at heart or pushing for the NWO. However, I do feel she is very decieved and has no idea what she's messing with. She is basically a clueless amateur compared to the "professional" groups that have been at it for centuries.

You raised a question to me about my comments of "going back to the beginning" on the Walter Burien thread.
I posted a link to the crystalinks page, as a reference to what I now see you are already quite cognizant about.
However, the real basis for my comment over there was that there is a basic conspiracy conflict between good and evil that is outlined in the Bible, and if a person doesn't understand and acknowledge that, they will never understand the basis for all the tentacles that they are seeing. And that is they are all just parts of the central single conspiracy since time began.
The all connect to the central conspiracy that occurred at the fall of Lucifer.
Without that as a basis, there is no way to connect the dots.
This is why atheists are often at a loss to explain these things, because they are adamant that the vortex whirls without a center. Because they refuse to acknowledge the center.

The NWO cannot possess "spiritual aspects". It can adopt religious aspects much like a cult, but "spiritual aspects" are a misnomer. Spirituality is sustained and evidenced through spiritual truths, i.e., "we hold these truths to be self evident, THAT ALL MEN ARE...."
It's my opinion of course, but that one little word ALL is the difference. As soon as I seperate myself from ALL, as in a "secret club" or exclusive society, spirituality has vanished and been replaced with ego or self.
