CNN: Putin accusses U.S. of involvement in Georgian crisis- says there were U.S. opperatives involved- done to help boost McCain

SOCHI, Russia (CNN) -- Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the United States of orchestrating the conflict in Georgia to benefit one of its presidential election candidates.
In an exclusive interview with CNN's Matthew Chance in the Black Sea city of Sochi Thursday, Putin said the U.S. had encouraged Georgia to attack the autonomous region of South Ossetia.
Putin told CNN his defense officials had told him it was done to benefit a presidential candidate -- Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama are competing to succeed George W. Bush -- although he presented no evidence to back it up.
"U.S. citizens were indeed in the area in conflict," Putin said. "They were acting in implementing those orders doing as they were ordered, and the only one who can give such orders is their leader."

online to get the news, and even then, must sort through it all TRYING to sort fact from fiction. Our press has utterly failed the American people!
I have yet to read anything in a newspaper about Obama being sued in Philadephia over his alleged lack of Presidential qualifications. At least this report was on CNN, and perhaps, hopefully, is a start toward MSM again becoming journalists, instead of entertainment hosts. On another note, I certainly don't feel like running out and buying any chicken since 19 factories here in the USA FAILED Russian import inspections....having arsenic and antibiotics in said chicken....Jesus Pleasus....
John McCain's Foreign Policy Cred
Looks like CNN is starting to turn around and report to the American people what was really going down there. Probably because it's too hard to hide at this point. The question is, will anyone challenge JM's Foreign Policy Cred by taking him to task on the facts of the conflict, his response, and his Georgian lobbiest?
