Just watched Obama on TV, he is a good speaker, presents himself very well, stirs emotion- but it is all just empty. He can't do the things he said he will and he doesn't have the authority to. I love Dr Pauls simplicity, I don't want to run your lives, I will insure you have the freedom to run your own!

Blah blah blah, citizen police force, I have no clue what change I'm gonna do, and I just hired the guy who replaced Dick Cheney as my V.P. so the C.F.R. can push there agenda and will make sure there plans will go through.
Silver tongue he has, but words can only be said with confidence until someone with a sharper mind can scrutinize them.

He’s a great speaker, magnificent at revving up crowds about all the great things we, his nation, can accomplish under his leadership. Just like Che, Fidel, Hitler and Khomeini before him. And he’s blessed with a similarly reflective and critical audience, as well.
I liked the part when he was
I liked the part when he was saying he has a way to pay for each and every dime of his programs/ideas and then doesn't really say what those are/go in depth...
I hope he wins so two years
I hope he wins so two years down the road we can launch a powerful freedom marketing campaign. Imagine a tv commercial airing with something like this:
"Two years have gone by and we were promised a better life... The wars were supposed to end, gas prices were supposed to go down, people were promised more jobs, and everyone would have access to health care... None of these promises were kept! Isn't it time we stop being delusional and wake up? We need to wake up and realize that big government can't perform. Politicians aren't super genius wizards who can magically make your life better. When are we going to realize that we need to go back to our American roots of limited government and personal freedom? If you are sick and tired of the lies and want peace and prosperity we must have Freedom.

I have never seen so many people goo-goo eyed over anyone. They "worship" him. I sure hate to say it, but we might end up finding out just how empty his words are. Have these people never listened to a political speech before? Do they not know that every speech is suppose to be the greatest speech ever (except we know McCain is not going to be able to pull that off)? So this was given on the 45th anniversary of MLK's famous speech. How convenient was that!! They finally gave him a monitor in front of him, but he is uncomfortable with it and still uses the ones left and right mostly which makes him look evil, cutting his eyes left and right. But he is gaining, gaining confidence. He is getting more and more relaxed. I can't stand the way he swallows the last word in each sentence. Always has. He kept his "worldly" ambitions on the down low during this speech. I'm sure he was told that the people are onto this idea and we can't spit it out bluntly yet because they are objecting to it.

I could not watch. Politicians used to promise a chicken in every pot. That's what I see Obama doing. He would make a great Anti-Christ. He seems so benign, but, I swear, he gives me the creeps. I feel like he is so ingenuine, and laughing behind the backs of the masses for them believing in him.
It is just a feeling.

Maybe he just has a better technical crew than Mccain.(at least most of the time. oops) Mccain still ca'nt read script as well. That was sad. He did'nt even seem to know what topic he was on when the thing went out. Scary. Like a robot. Wonder who works the controls.....

He's good at giving written speeches, but force him to talk off-the-cuff and he starts stuttering and rambling. It pains me to this say this, but Bush is better public speaker than him.

I kept hearing snake oil salesman speaking. You can promise the world to anyone who's stupid enough to listen but don't forget George Bush ran his campaign in 2000 on a non-interventionist foreign policy.

I truely believed that it
I truely believed that it was a great inspirational speech that can ignite passion in his supporters. I don't see McCain being able to pull something that great and inspirational. Only Dr. Paul and us fellow Patriots can do that kind of stuff. We are the originators of this type of excitement which we will gleefully display in a few days!!!!!
Oh remember this comment by Barack Obama: "John McCain said he will follow Osama Bin Laden to the gates of hell but we can't even get McCain to follow him to the entrance of his cave".....That was priceless!

Seriously, I found myself at times stopping my mind from analyzing his statements with logic and just listening to him "emotionally".
When I was in those mental states, his speech was excellent...
I used to doubt if he was sincere, but after watching his whole speech I find he is very genuine...now if only he would back the genuineness up with logic...
I find it strange
that this man claims to be for the low income families and such,yet when I drive through the high income neighborhoods it's Obama's signs I see in the yard.Sounds like so much hypocracy.

Yes, he is very charismatic
and he is not completely corrupt like people like his running-mate Biden. I think Obama is quite sincere.
However,
a) he does really understand economics,
b) he doesn't have a logical and consistent political philosophy
c) he doesn't history and how government is the greatest threat to liberty
and
d) he doesn't know how many states are in the United States.
e) he doesn't know what morals are (he thinks it is ok to do drugs and have sex with a man while he is married).
f) he didn't tell his nice crowd that he will be taxing them for the UN to end poverty around the world.
