This is it folks, other counties around Nevada will be having these same elections & it is our duty to step up to the plate & get elected. We MUST get our people elected if we want to prevail.
I'm sure the same meetings will be happening all over the country. Think of it, this is something for which to look forward after how we've been treated. This is where we can prevail. Find out what's happening in your county. If you're not a member of your county's central committee, you can still help the RP people who are & get out the vote for them. Keep your eyes on the prize!!

That's my birthday...
The last Washoe County Central Committee meeting went pretty well although they really didn't take care of much business. Several new people joined the committee that night but we'll just have to wait and see how good our percentage is once everybody returns from MN.
I'm not in the committee but depending on McCain's choice for VP, as long as it is not Romney who has a huge following in NV, we could see a lot of members come together and send some excellent choices to the nominations committee. These are the same folks that were given a presentation on the North American Union during their last meeting in July so they may be more receptive to new ideas
Thanks for the post.
Fiftyone does sound like a lot,
but I'm in tiny Storey County & we get 4. Our Central Committee Members are automatically elected & 3 of us are solid RP. The other one is almost. The way the announcement read, was that nominees had to be members of the WCRCC, and I have no idea how many members the Washoe County Republican Central Committee has. The announcement said the election was in accordance with the bylaws: Article 5, Section 2, paragraph C. The bylaws are at www.washoecountygop.org
If you'd check it out & see what the real deal is, that would be helpful. I don't have time to do that right now.
Fifty one is a LOT of
Fifty one is a LOT of openings..I am not sure we have that, here..hmm..will check it out. I think we have a county committee but it is very small..
