But she is good. I just watched her acceptance speech. Pat Buchanan calls this one of the most risky moves in presidential campaign history. I agree. But she is good. It's just such a shame that she has to team up with that bozo McCain.
I feel like her acceptance of the VP slot under McCain is rquivalent to her running into the arms of Frank Murkowski. Politically, I can understand why she would accept, but in the end I think she has just shot herself in the foot, if not in the head, with this move.
I think this will only benefit Palin in the long run. She gets exposure which will be critical to her political future, while McCain will get stuck feebly attempting to (A) defend his choice, and (B) get crushed under the superior debating skills of Barack Obama.
McCain has lost any semblance of credibility on this one. The McCain "conservatives" should all be heading for the nearest cliff by now.
OR, will she just drown as Dan Quayle did, having been thrown into the deep end of the pool when she can just barely dog paddle? This exposure will bring to light ALL of her warts, both on the national stage and here in Alaska. Just as it did for John Edwards in 2004.
