Obama convention VS McCain

Disclaimer.....As you well know I have posted here for a long time, and am 100% for Ron Paul.
I watched Obama's "Concert" type speech last night and am watching the McCain thing right now. What a difference so far.
Obama hit a home run last night in regards to presentation and what he said.....Did anybody else watch it and think the same? I mean he speaks 100 times better than McCain, and I could not believe 85,000 people, with fireworks, streamers, and big Jumbo Tron Monitors, music etc...........and after his speech, I kept flipping back and forth from CNN to Fox to here the difference in the commentaries....what a joke. CNN-Wolf, and Anderson had nothing but praise, and were blown away by his presentation, and then of course fox hired 2 people to just rag and rag on it. The Fox people kept saying this was a "Blah" presentation with the same old story. What a difference.
Then as I started watching McCains little "Dull" venue with some high school cheerleaders trying to motivate the crowd....it is a big difference. I will listen to McCain speak and then judge the rest....but from the initial looks of it.....it looks like Obama hit a home run.
I hope the Rally for the Republic is emotional as Obamas was for his followers. I also pray for some type of Media Coverage of the Rally.

Obama is an empty suit and dull as dirt. In what universe does someone find this man a compelling speaker? It's all media hype. I watched his Nuremburg style rally and was not impressed. I find it more disturbing that the rest of the media fawns all over Obama than that Fox predictably does not. I hope the Rally for the Republic has nothing in common with that disgusting display in Denver. They have empty slogans, Kool Aid, and hyped emotions. We have substance and represent the true spirit of America.

I'm a little alarmed at how you are impressed by CNN praising Obama yet you are put off by Fox criticizing him. In a perfect world, both CNN and Fox would be criticizing McCain and Obama because they are absolutely horrible potential leaders. They should be pointing out that their respective policies are disastrous for the USA.
Obama is indeed a good speaker, but he is too smooth by half if you ask me. He will say anything to any crowd in order to boost his popularity, as evidenced by his duplicity regarding the NAFTA remarks earlier this year. He will say whatever he thinks the crowd wants to hear.
A true leader (ahem - title of this site) will speak the truth, regardless of whether it upsets people.

As I've said for lo these many months, Obama has the momentum this election. He's going to be the winner, and the big money behind him already proves this. McCain is like an child wandering aimlessly in the woods.

100% and I think his choice for VP just doomed McCain for good. First time Gov of Alaska? What happens when McCain kicks the bucket.....Hmm.

don't understand how anyone can say Obama is a great speaker when he only says want the sheep to hear.I can't stand the way he is such a wolf in sheep's clothing.There is nothing good in either Mcinsane or Obama.Both are one in the same being used as pawns in a game being played with the American people.Nothing will change once one of them get in the White House.Things can only get progressivly worse.I can't understand how people who think these 2 morons will make any real changes. They are the blind following the blind and will deserve everything that's coming to them when elected. I will write Ron Paul in and if it's not allowed I will not vote.
