Musicians, actors, media talking heads, and politicians are not scholarly people. Do not always assume cowardice (or evil) when the simplest solution is stupidity.

Hasn't caught on yet with the traditional 'leftist' crowd yet. They think, incorrectly, that you're either right or left because that's the only choices they've had for 50 - 60 years.
You are either Republican (big business, war mongering, etc.) or Democrat (pro-people, anti war, etc.) and that's all they still see.
They haven't awakened yet to the truth that there is no longer any real difference between Republicans and Democrats and that a constitutional government is an option... or even possible.
In their tiny, rich circles they believe they are doing good by supporting the traditional anti-war candidate. In truth, they are supporting and maintaining the status quo; pawns in a game they don't understand.

CELEBRITIES are a large part of the problem. THEIR profession is; promotion, promotion, promotion, & prentation until you believe a lie . Tell a lie or false representation long enough, it becomes truth.
There are TV viewers that actually believe their life should be like that representation, they see on TV. THEY run their affairs in a similar fashion as presented on the boob- tube. The realization that TV only shows a small frame in time, never occurs to them. A picture may be worth a thousand words but it is only a clip in time . You can make a picture say anything. This is why I believe pictures should not be given much merit in the COURT room.
Celebrityship is & promotes ( POPULAR OPINION ) ,which rules the day. LAWS are not respected by the people any longer & imposition of your neighbors' WILL on you, runs rampent TODAY.
IN a way it is the peoples' own choosing to place their preferences, above the LAW. Public officials are following the WILL of the people ,instead of following the LAW of the land. WE PATRIOTS are caught in this social struggle, as WE the PEOPLE no longer believe in the INDIVIDUALISM that made this country GREAT . Someone different scares people, & places tension on their psyche. If you are not resigned to fit in to the norm, you are labeled.
So we are not just in a struggle against GOV'T.
