It is my goal to get everyone in my family to listen to this. This was the best, most beautiful comprehensive outline of the Liberty platform.
I have nothing but the absolute most highest regard and respect for Dr. Paul. The word thank you does not really carry enough weight to respond to this. I guess that's what action is for!
This entire campaign has been about "the speech," Ron Paul's speech at the Rally for the Republic. Has it been worth the effort? "Well," (to quote Ronald Reagan's favorite word) I've heard two really great political speeches in my lifetime, Reagan's "A Time for Choosing," in 1964 and Ron Paul's speech. "A Time for Choosing" is generally credited with partially closing the gap between Goldwater and Johnson, and galvanizing the conservative movement. Ron Paul's speech is at least ten times as powerful as Reagan's. If it was "all about the speech," then it has certainly been worth it.
The look as he gazed at the crowd when he first comes out is awesome. You can see the happiness in his eyes. That makes me happy. His dream is coming true and we are part of making that dream come true.
Just like he has given us hope for a brighter future, we have given him hope that all his work will not be forgotten. It will be multiplied a thousand fold. We will carry his message of liberty forward until we have liberated are great country. We are one day closer to realizing our destiny.
CSPAM already locked it up, you have to buy it from them to view it. I would rather send the money to CFL.
Is there anywhere else to see it? I see my fellow Alaskan delegates where amongst the only one with balls enough to vote for Ron. I guess that confirms we are backwards up here. Ha
Ron looked radiant. He never ceases to amaze me with his passion. We all deserved this night, especially our good Dr. Paul. His delivery was unmatched by his past speeches, in my opinion. All will enjoy.
C-SPAN's page is a bunch of javascript gobbledygook that tries to recognize your browser Flash plugin and gives you an error page if it thinks you don't have the right stuff to view it.
Unfortunately it's broken for the browsers and plugins I have available.
I've reverse-engineered their live links to get around a similar problem, extracting the URL for the stream
(http://play.rbn.com/?url=... in case you're interested. Change "cspan2" to "cspan3" or "cspan1" for the other channels.)
But this one has me stumped - at least given the amount of time I have available to try to unscrew it.
Could somebody who CAN play it extract the URL from their flash player and post it, please? Thanks.
I've also tried to reverse engineer the C-SPAN links to extract the video so I can edit it, but my expertise and time is limited. If anyone knows how to do it, please enlighten us!
By the way, this link will also play the video, if it helps:
was awesome! I missed him when he came to Ft. Wayne, but this was totally worth the drive and the crappy motels. Met some unique, enthusiastic people. The people who put this together deserve a lot of credit.
Heya folks. Did everyone send a friendly little message to Matt Drudge to post some info on this? Kinda disappointing not to see any details on what should be a major newsmaker on Drudge. He's posted links to Paul stuff in the past. So, maybe some kind words and a little encouragement (and a few thousand emails) can help get this the sort of coverage that it deserves. Be sure to mention Jesse Ventura -he's a good newsmaker himself. Maybe something about former Minnesota Gov. Jess Ventura snubs RNC convention -speaks at Ron Paul convention.
I am so glad to be a part of this REVOLUTION, ALL the speakers were awesome, and is felt sooooo good to be with all you like-minded patriots yesterday. I enjoyed meeting with you and talking common sense for the saving of America.
There was no fighting, everyone was extremely polite, saying thank you, opening doors for other people, smiling faces everywhere!
I was sorry to see some seats empty, but I want to thank the people who bought tickets to support the rally. Too bad, so sad you had to miss an extremely energizing day.
To those of you who attended, if that rally doesn't get you pumped up to go out and canvass your town and get people signed up for the Campaign for Liberty, I don't know what will.
THANK YOU DR. PAUL for this RALLY. Can we do it again next year????? PLEASE!
I have to admit that I was a little worried about the staying power of the "average American". What I forgot, was that we are not "average America". It gives me chill bumps to see all the talk and planning for now through 2012 and beyond. I was afraid people would just give up and go away, and I am seeing anything but that happen around us. Instead we are studying the rules of the GOP, and if we all can bring around only ten Americans who will vote and stand up for that vote...well you can crunch the numbers. Look what we did in a year or less, less than a year for myself. I always thought, "what if we were awake and this active four years ago? Well now is our chance to find out. Stay in the game, keep spreading the word, and inform those around you.
There is a true change in conscienceness supposedly happening around the years of 2012. Only those that are awake can make that change happen for the better, if we let the people stay silent, the change will only become harder and more dangerous. But we should all know and remember that there are those around and among us who have taken oaths to defend our Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. The Bushes attempted this form of government when they approached Chesty Puller with plans for a coup. What happened? The Criminal Prescott Busche became senator and begat our future rulers for a combined 12 years. So that's how we reward criminals in America now? Not to mention the Clintons.... Remember folks, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....the Busches didn't wake up one day with a change of heart, just deciding to give up on the New World Order and a facsist government, skull and bones wasn't about drinking tea and talking about sports. There are a lot of oaths out there that need to be upheld. We were lucky enough for Ron Paul to come along and wake us up, now we need to take advantage of our technologies while we still have some freedom, and learn how to take this party back over and have our will be done. Don't lose contact with those around you, and don't stop spreading the word.
Thanks for your comments/rant.
Your parting comment, "Peace be with you" says it all.
Peaceful change is the key, it is so difficult, but so rewarding to be in this battle. At some point however, things are going to start getting ugly as this movement gains strength and the NeoCons realize that their days are numbered.
Keep up the peaceful fight for our country.
Wow

I actually had tears in my eyes, of joy
And those who were right next to the stage report that Ron shed a tear or two, also.
And the best part of it all,
And the best part of it all, regarding his dream coming true, is that his dream for America is the same as ours.
Walt...
It was good talking to you this weekend in Minneapolis. How could I get another copy of that CD dealing with Constitutional Militias?
CRRAAAP!

Click On Red Circle
You can still watch it. Just click on the red circle button with an "f" in it, on the right hand side.
:)
Puttin the GOPS RNC to shame
Our convention was the best! Truly inspirational! The people at the RNC should be embarrassed.
How dare they! Can we change the Republican Party? Like Ron Paul said, yes, but it's up to us.
We need to build political strength and political will.
My favorite speech.
Ron looked radiant. He never ceases to amaze me with his passion. We all deserved this night, especially our good Dr. Paul. His delivery was unmatched by his past speeches, in my opinion. All will enjoy.

Think for yourself. Question authority.

Why does Barry Goldwater
...sound like John Madden?
Great Evening and our President was moved :)

Wisdom is the anticipation of consequences!
He almost chokes up with emotion at the beginning
there, I believe, but held is composure. He was overwhelmed. A 2 minute standing ovation they reported on Headline News.
My first Ron Paul Rally
was awesome! I missed him when he came to Ft. Wayne, but this was totally worth the drive and the crappy motels. Met some unique, enthusiastic people. The people who put this together deserve a lot of credit.

I got a chuckle out of that
