for any candidate with some momentum going against the two twin parties. At this point, with no Dr. Paul on the ticket, it does absolutely not matter to me what he stands for. Not at all. I am against both parties and I will choose the candidate with the most momentum-looks like Barr to me. That is the way of my vote this season.

Jesse made a big mistake not jumping in this year. Dr. Paul has us alllllll dressed up and no place to go. We begged Jesse.

The only thing I can say is that the election procedure MUST be fixed before we can get ANYONE in. That really needs to be a number one goal. So for that reason, Jesse might have saved himself. The election procedure very well may have been the ONLY reason Dr. Paul lost, in spite of the damned media. If the system had not gone against him at the beginning of the elections, he might have pulled through. But I feel strongly that they were rigged at that point and all the way through.

Forthright honesty would be appreciated...and.....since you want people to believe that Barr has changed for the better...you should be advised that it's not gonna happen as long as his supporters continue to use underhanded tactics, imo...

Now there are more liberty-minded candidates coming forward -- Ventura, Barr, Baldwin, Johnson -- let's encourage them and support the best of the lot.

So Ventura is already counting Ron Paul out in 2012? I certainly hope that Ron Paul wants to run for president again in 2012. I could accept Ventura as a VP, though.

Some people say he will be too old, but you know what -- I would vote for him even if he was 100+ years old!!!!!!!!!

Been a Ventura supporter for some time now, would love to see a Ventura/Paul ticket. Paul as VP would cover any inexperience that he has, and his powerful presence would cover up for the lack of RP's presence. Ventura in a debate would dwarf anyone, not quite as humble as the good doctor. :)

He's done these fishing expeditions with stipulations a few times in recent memory, and if his family implored him not to run for Senate in MN (though he would've been a shoe-in this cycle), what makes you think they'll change their minds in 2011 when the campaign season starts up again?
