135 Paul Delegates

The GOP is clearly a corrupt organization. I have seen and heard evidence of this from the senatorial and state conventions here in Texas. But, I think it will be easier to infiltrate the GOP than work through the Libertarian or Constitution parties. The Republicrats have effectively blocked those parties from any meaningful participation in the political process.

Anyway, let's start getting ready for 2010! Have to put everything we learned over the last 18 months and at the CFL to good use!

Thanks to all of you who attended the CFL and especially those of you who held your noses to represent our values at the GOP convention.

Remember how the MSM reported we will have only a dozen delegates and supposedly how expensive one has paid for each delegate (over 1 m)..
... well this has turned out to be totally false.
The responsibility for this bad behaviour lies with the RNC, only a few people and they will get their blowback in November. They only made sure the overall majority of Ron Paul supporters will NOT vote for McCain.

Stay with the CFL in any case, whether you are registered as R, I, L, C etc. You do not have to vote for McCain if you are a Republican, but if you change your registration, keep the option open of going back to the GOP and see what happens. Dr. Paul would need the maximum number of people in the GOP to affect change: become a mayor etc. etc. and build up political experience to run for congress etc. in 2010. If the GOP does not reform to its roots, the CFL could always form a new political party, that will include most of the CP and LP as well, but this is for the future.

The republican party has shrunk considerably today. I'll be headed to the constitutional party.

Go to http://www.thegreenpapers... This explains the delegate count. It appears that some States had some of there delegates reduced due to party violations.
I am also very disappointed with the RNC. I am a Nevada delegate and part of the Revolution. Keep on with the Liberty Movement. We have just started.

I will respond to two comments. First, that there were 11 delegates, secondly, why was nothing said.

There were 5 delegates, I was one of them. There should have been many more but it's late and I'm too tired and too pissed to address that right now. One thing that I must say publicly, is that our state party chairman, honored his word to announce the Paul delgates. This was a fairly large political risk for someone who does not know us and and has a lot to lose by doing this. I have to give credit where credit is due. Thank you Vance.

Secondly, why nothing was said. I didn't want to go to jail. Again this falls under the it's late and I'm too tired and too pissed to address it right now category.

All I can say right now is we have a lot of work to do. But as pissed as I am, there are some very good reasons to be optimistic and hopeful.

in the end the guy announced 5 for Ron Paul. But I was listening for fewer than allocated votes cast and did not hear the shortages as they went through roll call. Wish they would post the roll call somewhere.

I did the math quickly and figured out the missing numbers as well.. how come no one said anything?

I'm sorry Dr. Paul but I have no respect for the GOP after that miscarriage of justice. I hope they get their ass beat down in November.

If the Republican is not a Ron Paul Republican, vote them down. Put a Dem into office, preferably vote for an independent if possible, before we allow the Neo-Con goose steppers into power. We will show you who is boss.
