We must organize the largest Write-In campaign in the history of our Republic! Can we win? No! But we surely can make them stand up and take notice. Don’t throw your vote away voting for the evil of two lessers, or any other lesser, write in RON PAUL, in every state where it is allowed. I know all the arguments against a write in candidate, but if we can garner 10% to 15% of the vote in several key states this can not and will not be ignored. Why is this important? Because they must learn to fear us! We are not fringe, we are not kooks, we are the rEVOLution and we will prevail. You saw what happened at the RNC, when his name was put up for nomination, we were ignored, again. We don’t need their respect; they must learn to fear us! And not just the repubs, the dems as well for we will not go quietly into the night we will fight and we will prevail. Write in Dr. Ron Paul, every single one of you! Is he not the leader of our revolution? Do we not admire and love him? Would he not make the BEST President for the past 200 years? Then why do you hesitate? Come November, Write-In Dr. Ron Paul!

After this election I am
After this election I am going to need to be able to look back and smile. Being able to do that means I must also be able to look myself in the mirror every single day. I won't be able to do that if I vote for McCain.
So for me, I'll write-in Ron Paul if I can and if I cannot I'll vote for another only if they deserve my support. If there are no good options, then when I'm at the polls I'll just vote for the other levels of government and skip the President vote.
It starting to seem to me that voting for a "lesser evil" is still voting for an evil.

Don't stop at making them notice on just the presidential vote. I think we need to REPLACE the ENTIRE Congress with NEW people. People who have not been "purchased" and indoctrinated and "trained" by the evil ones. So unless you have a real CONSTITUTIONALIST as a candidate for congress or the senate (state or national) I would vote for the NON-INCUMBENT or a third party candidate. We need to shake up ALL of Washington and make them very afraid! We need to CLEAN HOUSE.
Work for Ron Paul supported candidates...
nationwide. They don't have to be local to benefit you.
Also, remember Dr. Paul's speech. Many of us took that oath to "support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic ..." We also know what nonviolent civil disobedience is. However, we are dealing with an enemy that thinks torture is OK. Pity them, but don't hate them or fear them. It's time to learn the true nature of your character, and it takes more courage to show restraint than any other emotion. Even those of you who believe this is all there is feel a responsibility to give it your best shot. Your best shot is positive change.
Sorry, but...
...being polite and writing-in Ron Paul as a way of protest ain't gonna cut the mustard. The people of Tailand rioted in the streets nationwide in a show of civil disobedience toward their crappy President. Simply complaining about the state of our union isn't working.

I just wrote my PA reps yesterday about the
absolute necessity of voter reform. Here in PA, to write someone in, you have to write in the name of all their electors and spell them correctly, as well....for that vote to count. Yeah, I can fit 21 electors on one DIEBOLD line...NOT! Nonetheless, I will write in the name RON PAUL...which definitely will not count...
PA here also....
I'm looking into submitting an absentee ballot instead....on account of I'll be "sick" on election day....just a thought....

They won't count write ins in most states
you have a better chance doing something with a 3rd party vote.
I don't understand clinging
I don't understand clinging to the Republican Party. Both parties are so corrupt they can be smelled from 50 miles distance.
Why can we not create our own party? With all the energy and time that we have spent trying to get RP elected..sheesh...he didn't even want to be elected!! If he had wanted that he would have chosen a running mate and run in the Independent Party. He could probably have won...this way there was no real possiblity of winning.
We have a LOT of people awake now..and wanting to do something to restore our republic...wanting it badly,
Yes, I realize there are obstacles but the way things stand we have four years to work on those obstacles. I don't find that as daunting as trying to force our way into the republican party which is so mired in mud and filth that it would take 50 years to clean it up.

What would be easiest, however, in my opinion would be to take over the Constitution Party and rewrite its platform to a non-evangelical, Bill of Rights-centric platform.

Unless Ventura runs in 2012, it might not be the last! This is such a better post than "vote for (fill in the blank)". If a better candidate comes along, I will vote for that person, but that has not happened nor do I expect it to.
