maybe we could all put the victories won this year on a slimjim or flyer and hand them out to people not aware of what our revolution has accomplished so far. That is what I am going to do. I am going to include the campaign for liberty website and how many people have signed up so far.

# 1 : We must stay organized and start working together

# 2 : We need to become educated on Rules of order and the delegate process for the future.

# 3 : We must be involved locally for this is where changes are made on the local level.

# 4 : Do not look at the battles we have lost but rather look at the many victories we have achieved this year.

Wow Steve... remember when I said this a bunch of months ago and was ridiculed by you, because you assured me that we had oodles of delegates and were getting more by the moment? Those who continued to push for delegates, that's great, but I remember being outright insulted by you and yours for months over stating these same things. I remember, in fact, being chastised for thinking about 2012 at all because "if Ron Paul's not elected, there won't BE an election in 2012, so why even bother?!?!" This was in response to making sure people were eligible to be delegates in 2012.

I'm glad to see you have had a change of heart, and don't now think that it's scourge-a-licious to believe that working locally and pushing forward with the idea, to use this as a foundation and not let it slip away like previous movements.

Maybe you will also learn a lesson from this, and realize that people doing something different from you --- even people who outright disagree with you, or are rude, or are otherwise icky to you --- are still valuable, and their efforts are beyond your constant judgement :) Oh and yes I know that sounds awfully hypocritical to those who might not remember things that happened, or painted them a rose color in their memories ;)

I never called someone a loser, or a power-tripper, for doing whatever they could for the movement. I'm not really looking for having people banned for disagreeing, or displeasing me. I don't post some sort of martyr complex "oh the trolls will be out shortly" and then sigh and shake my head as the people I disagree with point out my flaws, then wag my finger and hope they are banned. That sort of thing is silly. Those are votes. Those are hands and feet and eyes and ears. If they aren't worth my time to work with, then I don't expend energy chasing them around the internet trying to get them banished, either ;)

I see a post about diehards snapping like peanut brittle. In some cases, I'm of the personal opinion that is because people had attitudes along the line of what I described: Ron Paul or the world will end! Ron Paul or we'll all be in FEMA camps! It always seemed unlikely, and I was called every name in the book for thinking so. I've always noticed you turn the water up slowly when boiling that proverbial frog. People love citing the nazis, well look at how things were done. Little by little and then the hand closed suddenly and there was no one to cry for help to. Help came for unrelated reasons, no matter what history wants to paint it as.

Among all this is the high hope that somehow, someway, the same political machine we saw as difficult enough we had to mount a concerted effort against it... would recognize all the delegates, and that in fact we'd have a majority of delegates during a multi-round rollcall. As chances of that dwindled, people should have (logically) begun turning their attention to alternatives, but some others still clung to reports that we did in fact have a great sweeping tide of delegates. This is another reason people are cracking, I think; expectations were unrealistic, and now the movement ebbs. That's the real concern, and I share it with SGP, though I question the timing of it and the sincerity, but I'll do that in private if he wants.

Thank you, Steve, and all the delegates. We are now more motivated than ever to continue on our journey to liberty!

Stay positive. The voting and the way it has been handled was to be expected by now. Ron Paul as year long Republican not even allowed free access to the GOP convention! They will taste blowback in November.
The best way for the ideal of the CFL to succeed is to vote for any third party or independent candidate of your choice, even if he/she is not perfect.
They are mostly much closer to Paul than McBama. The GOP must be sent a strong message. The best and fastest way is that McCain loses, but the GOP still retain more than 40 senate seats, so that fillibusters can still work. The GOP would have to do soalsearching then, which is already long due.

Always play your cards well. We need to hit them the same way they hit us. We could focus on building important parts not only the GOP, but also the Democratic party for example. Consider all the options, then when its time, hit hard. Patience is running out, I know, but as long as we still have something to defend and believe in, the fight goes on!

Anyone who thought Ron Paul had a chance to win the Republican nomination after Super Tuesday, well, I'd like to get a hit of what you were smoking. If we get caught up in a personality cult then we're just like the Barack O-bomb'em crowd. Seriously, when rumours began to circulate on libertarian blogs back in January 2007 about Dr. Paul running, did any of you imagine what would happen in his campaign? For those of you not on those blogs in January 2007 - my point exactly - welcome to the freedom movement we're glad you're here!

If this was about one man in one race, then we lost handidly. If this is a movement to restore our constituational republic, then we've only begun to fight. We may play different positions now that the Paul for President campaign is no more - LP, CP, IP, GOP, other - but we're all playing for the same team. Let's do all we can, however we can to keep spreading the message and one day our day will come.

By not nominating Dr Paul it just makes the Republicans look like a bunch of idiots! Of course those of us that have been enduring the the local REC meetings it's clear the leadership are no idiots, they are just pure evil. They are in it for the personal gain of money and power. The corruption and perversion runs deep and it's going to take a lot of work to get rid of these degenerates.

But I have been looking for a posting all day on what happened from our delegates perspective. I was on the road all day until this morning coming back from the Rally. I didn't see the convention at all. Please someone tell me what happened.

...we endured endless posts from you such as "WE DID PICK UP THE MAJORITY OF DELEGATES THAN ALL THE OTHER CANDIDATES IN MOST EVERY STATE EXCEPT A FEW", and yet, last night seemed to indicate otherwise.

I was in the C4L Leadership Summit on Labour Day and they explained very clearly how the campaign will be organized. It is expected to be a grander, more focused, and more comprehensive version of the presidential campaign's precinct leader program.

I am not sure how much of the information I got was really meant to go public, so I won't get much into the details.

But, we are going to press forward and make a difference.
