Does RP UNDERESTIMATE the power he now holds?

The initial focus should probably be on the upcoming election. We need to identify all candidates that share our ideals. Then do whatever we can to support these candidates. That action needs to be taken for every level of government, the more supporters we have in office the better.

My guess is that the CFL will begin working on this more publicly very soon.

Just say the word Dr. Paul.

There was one situation in his life where he became leader in a college club or something, not because he fought for himself but was put there by his colleagues.

I often thought about it in these months. I think that is some kind of a pattern.

That explains why he doesn't fight "more selfishly" but would have been willing to accept the nomination.

I attended the C4L Leadership Summit. The C4L website will roll out the new systems approx. Oct. 1st. It looks really good. My notes are still in the car and after a 34 hour drive...then 3 hours sleep...then a county republican central committee meeting...I'm kind of delirious. So I'm not going to go into great detail.

Expect specific tasks for your precinct. Minimum 5 hour commitment every month. And a personal goal of signing up at least one precinct leader every year. The initial goal is 10000 precinct leaders. 20000 the second year, 40k the 3rd and so on. The monthly tasks are not hard...canvassing to get to know your precinct...polling...setting up candidate forums...etc. Anyone of those and more will meet your monthly goal. The organization is goal/accomplishment driven. It is centrally based only that the central organization is giving you a very good set of political grassroots tools. It is very grassroots in the fact that you determine how it is done.

They have set it up with zero magic solutions. It is all based on proven political methods that work and if done in mass will DOMINATE any political system. How? All politics are local. It would be nice of course if each of us ants could single handedly change the world. We cannot...but we can change our precinct. If we all work as an army of ants...and change/engage 10's of thousands of precincts over the next few years and keep increasing our reach...we WILL change this country.

It is hard work with ZERO fame, but this is what makes the difference. The true patriot doesn't care about the fame, but the end result working in concert with 1000's of other ants will move the country and maybe even the world.

The whole thing is beautiful. When you see it...and if we do the work...we will shift the political landscape...slow and steady...like a wave...we will erode/attack the weak base of tyranny. Other campaigns do not have enough money or resources to accomplish this. They do not have the 'free' working patriots that we have, but only paid mercenaries.

The C4L is going to give us the tools to carry out the long and arduous fight...something I believe we can truly devote our Life, Blood, and Honor to.

Dr. Paul is the reason Sarah Palin was picked so you darn tootin he is a heavyweight!

He has so much support now, that if he would only ask for it, his supporters would do most of the heavy lifting for him.

Give Dr. Paul a break. I mean how much burden can one man bear? Hasn't he done enough for us already? We need to act now.

Dr. Paul has done more than his share, more than anyone. Now it is our turn. You have ideas, talk to people, plan an event. Remember, the worst our enemies can do is kill us. And eat us.

We don't need to be told what to do. We can think for ourselves.

We need to get our creative juices flowing and get things done without being told what to do.

Centralized power is very dangerous for our movement. For example, I believe that if Ron Paul was really the leader you wish him to be, the establishment would have killed him off by now, but if we keep this movement decentralized, the establishment can't end it.

They can't control it, and that's what we want!

I think the idea of using an anti-fed money bomb would be a great idea ... and use the funds to launch a national campaign on educating people about what the fed is and why it needs to go ...

maybe similar to the dvds for delegates ..

From the crowd response at the R4R, a lot of people obviously think "Killing the Fed" should be a high priority. In this situation a more targeted and focused plan of action might have a better chance of getting the job done.

Actions RP could call for are:
1. A money bomb for a class action lawsuit declaring it to be unconstitutional
2. Regular protest at the various locations
3. A CFL DVD on the FED to be used to raise awareness, anger and support.

The point is - many people coordinated on a well defined initiative and problem would probably have a better chance of succeeding than a general strategy of promoting liberty!

Second, he is heroic in courage and energy, but he's way older than most of us. He's been under unbelievable stress for the past year and most recently during his wife's illness.
He deserves a bit of time to recover while we carry on with the programs he's already detailed. Now it's time for us to generate ideas to work on together and plans as individuals to grow and use our unique talents and resources.
All the disparate posts shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness. The Daily Paul has long functioned as a gathering place for freedom seekers learning and sharing and finding our way. We'll help each other grow into the force for change we all want.

We don't have to wait. First make a donation today for the C4L. I just sent them an email. We need to grow this into a membership organization such as the NRA. Annual memberships with multi-year or life memberships will go along way to ensuring our success.

Some talked about how Jerry Browns We the People foundation died on the vine. We can not let this happen. The Dr. told us we don't have much time. I encouraged them to speak with NRA officials to get endorsements from them and advertising space in their publications. Say what you want to about the NRA but they have millions of DUES paying members. That is critical to us as well.

I even suggested that the NRA should be transformed to the National Rights Association. Why fight for just the 2nd ammendment? The entire Bill of Rights is under attack and we need to infom NRA members of this plight.

So here is an action step that you can take today. Join the NRA for at least one year. Tell them you are from the Ron Paul C4L. If they increase their rolls by 100,000 this month and know that they are from Ron Paul, the establishment will get the message.

This is just one step. You can think of more. Post them here and make your case. I just did.

In every movement there has to be a leader. It is the nature of people.
Ron Paul never took charge of his followers which is what he needed to do.
He needed to rile us up with fiery speeches and tell us where and what he needed from us but he and the campaign ignored us.
They should have kept us posted and updated through their website so we would know what was going on. That way we could have followed his cues.
People without a leader will flounder and dissipate. He communication with us could should have fueled our passions but his leadership was sorely lacking.

A mistake now could be fatal.

He chooses to be patient and only act when completely certain.

laid out pretty clearly a plan of attack based on the precinct program, etc. It's going to be a lot of hard work, no quick fixes. Look for more info. to come down the pike soon. Or, better yet, contact your (former) state coordinator, Deb Hopper or someone else with C4L and state your intent to become involved on a leadership level.

He's said (in so many words) that he couldn't control us if tried (when Glenn Beck asked him to tone us down once). Also he's reluctant to run this in a top-down fashion. But I think he underestimates how willing most of us are and the kind of effect we could have with a focused plan of attack...

Ron Paul or somebody to lead us. Tell us what to do. We are fractured without a sense of direction. Look at all the topics posted. Everybody (including me) has a different idea of what we are supposed to be doing right now.

Take over GOP?

Write-in?

Bob Barr?

Chuck Baldwin?

Jesse in 2012?

We are much stronger when we act together as a group for a common cause.

He may. He's always been a humble, low-profiled man who's worked his way to be where he is. This is one of the greatest qualities I like about him because he is one of those people that makes you feel proud to be an American.
