At this rate, it's going to take 20 years to elect a RP Republican majority!

Congressional elections are every two years, and the growth should eb exponential. If you have 5, those 5 can gain 20, those 20 gain 60 etc...

Besides, all we can do it try. Nothing would ever have been accomplished if people gave up simply because the odds seemed impossible.

In WWII the Rangers that assaulted Pointe du Hoc had to believe that mission was near impossible. Scaling an oceanside cliff under fire to assault a fortified enemy position.

People do not necessarily become more awakened in times of turmoil -- they often just become easier to herd into hasty decisions (Patriot Act, War on Terror, War on Climate, etc, etc).

We really need 20 times the effort to ensure success and that's going to need 20 times the amount of people (20 million minimum) and 20 times the effort from everyone involved.

only vote at Presidential elections. We can sweep in 2010 for all manner of elected office.

By 2012, the people who didn't vote for Ron Paul because "he couldn't win", will have something to think about.

Not necessarily Ralph....it is just a matter of how much of an economic mess this country finds itself due to government bumblings over the next few years.....MONEY always talks much louder to the People and their voting than does anything else.

You let the economic continue to slide, you let the People's pay checks continue to buy less and less with the government's fiat money and you will see drastic changes in the way the People of this country will vote.

I dare say that after either McCain or Obama serves out their term, that by 2012, we may well see the election of a third party that year.We should be very prepared for that shift in political identity.

Difficult, but not complicated:

* Huge issues win huge numbers of hearts and minds. Ron himself said dissatisfaction with the war ignited a fire of interest in him.

* Real ID et al are legitimate issues but not huge issues. Too philosophical for sheeple and always will be until martial law is declared.

* The small-government/big liberty crowd needs at least 5 million believers of the country's 100 million voters to effect real change where it counts, in DC.

* There are 2 huge issues emerging and we have a chance to win them both.

* First is Entitlement Debt. Seniors and soccer Moms care about fiscal child abuse. See Perot, 1992, 19% of the vote.

* Second is Policeman to the World. The costs in lives, dollars and futility in Iraq and Afghanistan will become more apparent every year. Ever told a sheep about the entitlement Tsunami, then added that America has 700 military bases in 130 countries? I have, it changes minds about big government.

* Huge issues also unify the base. Our bickering is unproductive.

When we take on precincts, we will find these two issues are the most popular bait. I can't wait. My third decade in the freedom movement will be the most successful.

You can try all the get-rich-quick schemes you want.

Just make sure that you save enough money each year for your retirement, when they don't work.

Frantic schemes rarely(if ever) replace hard diligent work.

People are always looking for the "silver bullet", when it's right there all the time.
It's called hard work, diligence, and persistence.
The adversary knows it. He's put in over a hundred years getting us where we are today.

...we may give our lives but i feel it might , be a psycological fight at this time......... these days it seems we have all the technowledgy and weapons that it is like , "FRONT" warfare , even though we use it every day .... on a population looking from the inside out , it may be hard to realize the world outside of our reality-bubble but this movement has sparked creative , real , hardcore emotions for liberty and truth .... I feel that 9/11 truth movement has grown this past year or even half year.... and i am FOR SHER that this liberty movement will grow even largeer ..... maybe in the end of this war ..... we will be able to see people EVERYWHERE and talk to them as actually , logical human beings with a real passion for life...

I love to dream and I know i'm not the only one....

Not true. Ron said in his rally speech that all it takes is 5-10% of the population to bring about real change in the country.

5% of 300 million Americans is 15 million people.

So if we get 15 million people on board, we win. I think that's very achievable in less than 20 years.

I think that we've reached a tipping point and the rate of educating people to the message of liberty will start spreading like a raging forest fire that can't be put out.

20 years is a small price to pay although I think it will come much much sooner ... once we start getting a voice in congress with more than 1 lone voice ... things will change

I'm down for it.

20 years is reasonable for the major changes we want. It's going to be a gradual process, so we'll start seeing fruits all the way through those 20 years. We've already seen some effect, including McCain picking someone that would have more appeal to Ron Paul Republicans than who he would have otherwise picked if Paul never entered the race.

Stay positive.

It took overa hundred years for the powers that be to get the country into the situation its currently in.....

It's going to take time to stop what's being done and try to reverse it. It may take years.....heck....it may be the generation after us that gets the job done.
