Now What?

Well.... the RNC is over.... the Presidential Campaign is over.... the Rally for the Republic is over....

but the Campaign for Liberty is just beginning!

Now what do we do? Do we all go our separate ways as individuals, still united in the same cause?

Do we stick together and continue to use the great tools we have developed through our organization/the internet?

What do you think?

I'll probably do a little of both.... I'd like to find my own way of doing things, but I know I'll never be able to be totally successful without working with other people.... Wasn't it Ron Paul that said we should all use our individual talents to help spread the message?

I'm an artist/art student.... I think there is a serious need for these ideas in the art world.... especially now at a time when art is on the verge of a possible transition.... Many believe Modernism is in its dying stages (it may already be dead).... at its peak were those who embraced Marxist/communist ideas and incorporated it into abstracted presentations.

Well, art, to me, cannot survive without liberty and the individual, and those ideas, and those of Dr. Paul are long overdue. I have no idea how I could successfully and creatively incorporate this philosophy into my work, but I'm going to seriously try.

In the mean time I hope to get involved in the party. They're never going to return to the platform if there aren't people there to say it. I'll be a broken record... eventually they'll have to open up. Start from the bottom up, working through your ward committee men/women, and so on and so on. If I was old enough I'd consider running for office.... Maybe someday... First I think I need to get through Ron Paul's reading list and get a wider, more thorough education on these issues.

I don't know how successful I'll be... but it's almost irrelevant. There's no going back now. So it's forward from here on out.

I am still extremely bitter, cynical, depressed, and feel betrayed by the party, but I suppose I'll have to get over it. Still, I'd very much like to pull the knife out of my back and give it back to the GOP. The way they and others treated Ron Paul, his supporters, the delegates at the convention.... I can't even continue typing about it because I actually feel like throwing up. I can't believe there is such injustice out there.... even after giving them the benefit of the doubt, the opportunity to do the right thing... to see them intentionally blow it and do it with smug pride.... I can't even begin to describe.

I'd like to know what your plans are. I'd also like to know what the Campaign for Liberty's plans are. Is it really going to be a permanent organization? I know what I believe now, but I feel like I don't have the tools to get going.... Although the Rally was exciting, I still feel like I have no clear idea what comes next.... I don't want to have to sit by and watch these problems continue. I can't stand watching our liberties erode, our economy collapse, our soldiers die, and our prosperity falter. I'm both anxious to move on to new projects, but scared to leave the structure of the presidential campaign with its clear goals/objectives.... It seems like educating people and getting good people in office are really the only ways to effectively change anything.... Bad representatives won't listen, the media won't pay attention, and everything will just continue as is.

I have plans and ideas and I believe in individual responsibility.... but I need the direction to help put them in action.
