What kind of Vote do you have?
No matter what kind it is, "Don't sweat the vote". Seriously, don't sweat it one drop.
DON'T SWEAT THE VOTE. We in the R3VOLution are here to stay and we have our eyes now on 2012, don't you? We have won, be confident in that. We are no longer a "laughing matter". We are for real. Get comfortable in that chair, but most of all, this year do not Sweat the Vote.
Everyone has heard Dr Paul's message by now, and so, give them the Liberty to make the "Lessor of Two Evils choice" or "the devils choice". Don't worry, they will get a bad case of "Voters Remorse" soon enough.
Further, if I was living in a "swing state" like Ohio or Florida or California where the vote is supposed to be very close, I would have whats called a "Swing Vote".
What would I do with a "Swing Vote"?
I would probably vote OBAMA.
Why? Because in 4 years I would like to have Jesse Ventura (or whom ever we in the R3VOLution choose) go against "President Obama" rather than have to go up against a "President McCain".
Make sense?
The idea is simple enough, "vote now who you would rather be fighting in 4 years". Further, many of us are now getting deep inside the Republican Party, thus we are enjoying the use of those tools, the "Voter Vaults" that provide voter mailing lists, names and addresses. The out of power Republicans will warm up to our message, ...just to win against President Obama. We can use that to our favor. With a big name like Ventura constantly in the news and on the air, and on TV, in the Papers, etc, Mittens and Huckleberry will fade out of favor.
I am in Arizona, so McCain looks to have a large margin, not a "swing state". So I do not have a "Swing Vote".
So now my vote becomes a "Protest Vote".
As a "Protest Vote", I will vote Barr/Root.... Or maybe NOT. Maybe I will have something much better to do that day, like cut the grass and take out the trash. Perhaps my son has a football game that day. Or perhaps a fellow Patriot in Iowa needs one hundred "Ventura/Johnson 2012" flyers & signs and I have nothing better to do but go to my garage, crank up the music and bang out some Ventura 2012 signs. Or I might have fun overlaying a cool sound track of A Allen and Vaughn to some of Ventura and Johnson's best political statements and post it up on YouTube. What ever I do that day, I know this, I will be having fun.
Who knows what we will do that day, but DO NOT ...."Sweat the Vote".
Seriously, Don't sweat the vote.
The R3VOLution Lives on, and so the Vote is meaningless to you and me. The VOTE means zero, the R3VOLution continues to the battleground, 2012. And that 2012 battle will be fought and won in the next 4 years in 3 key States. If you live elsewhere, you should make regular trips to these 3 States over the next 4 years. Sweat that, but don't sweat the Vote.
Now is the time to get Jesse Ventura & Governor Gary Johnson SUPER POPULAR in 3 key states, Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. Crazy as it sounds, "Name Recognition" is the name of the game. That was the 100lb ball around Dr. Paul's campaign, "low name recognition". The Media had a field day with Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, and John McCain, giving them millions and millions of dollars worth of Free Exposure. Then Polling ensued, which Surprise Surprise, guess who was the "front runners"? Other contenders like Tancredo, Huckabee, and Dr Paul, had to get their supporters to fight hard to break that "media glass ceiling".
So our job is simple really. Over the next 4 years, as events unfold, we will use Open Eds, Signs, flyers, TV interviews, TV programs, radio shows, YouTube videos, etc to achieve massive NAME RECOGNITION. Believe it or not, Ventura is through the "Glass Ceiling", but its up to us to Keep Him There, KEEP HIM RELEVANT. He is our voice for the R3VOLution going into 2012. We must be highly focused upon these 3 states. The R3VOLution must FOCUS our ENERGIES deep inside of these 3 States. That is where the Fun & Sweat Will Come From.
Perhaps everyone should adopt a state. I will adopt Iowa because its closer to Arizona. Perhaps I should subscribe to its large city newspaper, and write in an editorial once in a while, always mentioning Jesse Ventura and Gov. Gary Johnson. Couldn't hurt. The adopt a City in the 3 battlefield States campaign is an idea....a fun idea. Do you have some ideas? Share them with us...thats what the Daily Paul is about.
But fellow patriots, don't Sweat the Vote.
And most of all remember this, ...."If you are not having FUN, you are not doing it right".

I have no presidential vote
But I will be voting against almost all the incumbents that are running for re-election in November. I really hope mccain wins so I can help oust the repubs I voted for for state office in 2006. I wrote letters and made calls begging for endorsement for Ron Paul and instead they endorsed mccain. I will take great pleasure helping to campaign against them!
Yes, don't sweat the vote, but we all need to
converge on a specific voting strategy. Why? Because there are two obvious benefits: 1. Improved name recognition/validity for a 3rd party. 2. Keeping the Revolution momentum going. Also, this will increase the Freedom message exposure to the masses which goes beyond the election process. Furthermore, and more importantly, this election cycle is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and grow our movement as a result of careful participation in the process. We need experience. This is one of the many opportunities in front of us. Are we wise to simply cast it aside? Besides, whoever our leader becomes in 2012 (Ventura/Johnson?) lessons learned this year will aid us in doing the right thing(s) next time. btw I suspect that Ventura will not be running as a dem or rep. Another good reason to push 3rd party now. Let's hope the path forward finds its direction by next Wednesday.

We're all 'DAVE' http://digg.com/political...
It's a good thought. The revolution continues, as it should,
every day and through every person who yearns to live free. We do it individually, in our daily lives and through our concerned, though hopefully not confrontational, interaction with other people. Always be a good example. It's a slow process, but one that is entirely worthwhile.

do you think we will be in the NAU by 2012?What kind of election,if any would we have then? And what about the voting machines, how do we get around those?
I think we are "there" now.
As for Voting machines.... Paper trail !
We push for a paper trail at every turn.
But pre-polling should match votes. Exit Polling should match votes. Polling is a science, a science based upon statistics. With honest professional pre and post polling, we should get a real read and be able to zero in on machines that have been tampered with. This will not help in a tight race, thus we will demand thorough checks at key voting machines.
It will be harder and harder for any trickery. But one thing we really need in the R3VOLution is a Statistics pro.... a seasoned statistician. His/her services to the Revolution will be greatly used.
A little note to those who have not taken a math class that was soley devoted to the study of statistical analysis. Its a real Science. Its amazing. If done right, its impossible to argue with. Is math. 2 + 2 = 4, always does and always will. Further, one hundred red balls in a jar mixed in thoroughly with a 1000 white balls means, for every ten balls you grab with your hand, one will be a red ball. It means that if you flip a coin 20 times and amazingly all 20 times it came up heads, then should you flip the coin for the 21st time, the CHANCE that you will get a tails "this time" is still, 50/50. Much like lessons in economic science, statistics is a "counter intuitive science".
If anyone wants to have some fun, go to your local community college and ask the Statistics professor if you could "just listen in, not as a student for credit or grades, but just because you are intellectually curious about this branch of mathematics" I am sure he or she will say, "sure". Then get ready to be amazed at what Statistics can measure.

Two Years Too Late
Keep our eyes on 2012? Why; because that's when the next Presidential election is to be held?
Our eyes need to be on 2010, first. And 2008, for that matter. The more lunch buddies for Ron we get into Congress, the better our chances will be in 2012. And, the more r3volutionary-friendly candidates elected to our local offices, the better we'll tend the garden of future Congress-bound lunch buddies.
Identify, support and elect liberty-minded local and state candidates now. We don't have to -- and most assuredly should not -- wait four years.
What Revolutionary Candidates do we have that
look like they will or may win a Congressional seat? Any?
