There is a lot more victory going on behind the scenes than many realize!

I have decades of apathy to make up! Shame on those of us (1950s-60s) who went to sleep. We have work to do.

i dont see it as a victory at all. we all got dealt a very large, frightening and disappointing slice of reality at the RNC. The party bosses have things well under control. I do think it is a big loss but i think it should be said that it probably should be an expected loss. Taking a close look and analyzing just how we were beat so badly i think is probably the best thing that came out of the experience for the movement however, and with that knowledge we need to use it to prepare for the next election. starting now. and also with congress. change wont happen in one election. (C4L is probably the second best thing that came out of it). I for one feel deeply scarred watching the events fold out in their entirety. and id have felt far far worse if i were actually there and not just watching. but i do know that if i was there theres no way in hell after what ive experienced even in just this past year, with all truths exposed, that id cave in under any pressure or threats of repercussion to tow the party line and throw my vote to mccain. i would be one of those people dragged out by the 'secret service' for trying to raise even if it were just a sole voice of dissent. and id probably be charged with something outrageous under the patriot act (which if true has finally shown its true colors in a very real way). This entire experience, as it continues to unfold, surpasses the scariest of horror tales, more tragic than the sum of the writings of shakespeare himself. the longer this nightmare continues, the harder it becomes to awaken from it.

i look at it the same way ... we really did win .. they tried to suppress us and stop us and they couldn't do it ... our quest wasn't to win the nomination .. they would have never given it to us because they cheated

our goal is to take over elected office so then we can win votes and elections and start a real revolution
