Ron Paul steals McCain's thunder

Texas Congressman Ron Paul may not be the next US President. But the firebrand Republican, who failed to win the party's nomination this year, is still hugely popular with grassroots supporters. He staged a rally in Minneapolis as an alternative to John McCain's Republican Convention in nearby St Paul, stealing much of the limelight from the party's official presidential candidate.

My children are all bilingual, fluent in Russian. We decided that would be the best language for them to learn, so the attend a Russian immersion program.

Russia is our friend. We should embrace Russia. They are natural allies of America.

Russian people like American

Russian people like American people should be embraced but their government is just another controlling force.

Bingo!

But I understand that one does not change from Communism to a free market overnight, especially when their first flirtation with free market economics in the 90s was exploited by oligarchs. Russia is in a bit of a tight spot. They need a strong leader, one who can stand up to the outsider governments that want to walk all over her.
