We'll get blamed for an Obama victory

If Obama wins, does anyone think that the RP supporters who vote 3rd party will be blamed for the slim margin that Obama wins by? The way that Nader was blamed for helping Bush win?

Just wondering.

Some call it "BLAME"

I call it RESPONSIBILITY............and I'll be proud that we've sent that message!

It would be an honor

to be a part of ending a period of gross Govermental irresponsibilty, destruction & deciet.

Actually, it would be great

if they did blame us.
That would be a public admission that they need to make major concessions to our base, if they ever expect to win another election.
That would make us a deciding factor in the election.

Make no mistake, the RNC will be looking for some scapegoat, and they actually might be stupid enough to try to wipe it off on us.
And would be exactly what we want, because it's an admission that they need us, and we will DEMAND change.

I have no problem with being blamed for doing the right thing.

I have no problem being blamed for doing the right thing. The lessor of two evils is still evil. So if we don't prevail, & I know I was still in the right, I feel no shame or blame.

Thank you Dr. Paul for making my act on what I already knew was right.

Our movement will be lucky

If we do not get blamed for a Reichstag like event. If the worst thing that they can say about is that we allowed a socialist to win over a facist, I think I can live with that. As the economy collapses, Obama will be the one in office so he will receive the blame from the ignorant American people who don't understand that this bubble has been building for years.

If Obama is in office, Republicans like Dr. Paul will have more of an opportunity to tell it like it is because they will be from the oposition party.

Last Night

I live by twin sisters that live in two houses in my neighborhood and both are Obama supporters. We were debating politics last night and they were trying to convince me to vote for Obama over McCain. After they heard I was NOT going to vote for McCain, they were pleased. When they found out that I was NOT going to vote for Obama, they were upset. They claimed that a vote for anyone but Obama would be a vote for McCain and that I would be wasting my vote. While I protested that voting for my values is never a wasted vote, they pulled the old "Third Party Candidates Cannot Win Speach." While I countered on that, they still saw my vote as wasted.

I also pointed out that just as many Democrat votes are cast for third parties as are from Republicans. This party mentality means nothing will change until people vote for what they believe in. Obama people want peace, but they fail to recognize that giving $1B to Georgia is just as bad as going over there and fighting against Russia. Both avenues piss over Russia. Both avenues take money we don't have and give it to a government that is not ours. Both cause horrible financial and humanitary issues based on our carrot and stick approach. War is both military and economics and as Russia knows, economic warfare is just as devastating as military warfare.

I WILL NOT VOTE FOR WHO I BELIEVE WILL WIN. I WILL VOTE FOR WHO I BELIEVE IN!

If that mind set of voting for the lesser of two evils perpetuates, no one will vote with their belief system in mind. They will jujst vote for who is a bit closer.

I'd much rather have Obama

then McCain. Neo Con's like Schenuman would be all over a Johnny Mac administration.

In his acceptance speech, Obama brought up the possibilty of reducing some Gov. programs/ agencies, I'd like to see Ron Paul's people try & reach out & see if he is serious.

If serious, Obama's reductions will of course not be as radical as the FED, but maybe some smaller institutions that really do no good, could be suggested.

Bump

There is hardly a difference.

Does some

think an Obama victory would be that worse than a McCain victory? If McCain wins, there will be more occupation of Iraq, more people killed, more money sent, more inflation, more wars and less jobs (as he said himself!). Wonderful scenario????

Wait -

Are you worried about Obama winning?

Do you think the popular vote decides who becomes president?

No, sorry Ralph Nader's run didn't cause the Gore's loss (a little media fib). Fear and baseless theories, presented by a "trusted" media as fact, are hugely powerful when it comes to American psyche.

Al Gore won the popular vote in 2000. However, he did not gain the large number of electoral college votes, necessary in such a close race.

"On November 26, the Florida Elections Canvassing Commission certified the results of the election and declared Governor Bush the winner of Florida’s 25 electoral votes. On November 27, Vice President Gore, pursuant to Florida’s contest provisions, filed a complaint in Leon County Circuit Court contesting the certification. Fla. Stat. §102.168 (2000). He sought relief pursuant to §102.168(3)(c), which provides that “[r]eceipt of a number of illegal votes or rejection of a number of legal votes sufficient to change or place in doubt the result of the election” shall be grounds for a contest. The Circuit Court denied relief, stating that Vice President Gore failed to meet his burden of proof. He appealed to the First District Court of Appeal, which certified the matter to the Florida Supreme Court."

Vote for the best candidate - ALWAYS! How can there be guilt or blame when you are firmly standing on principle. Lead by example, don't compromise away everything that you stand for - Gore would have done everything Bush did plus sign the Koyoto Treaty. McCain will do everything Obama will do, there is no difference. They are one "united" party with two sides, this side will take the blame while the other "fixes it" by moving the agenda forward.

You can find people of principle on a local level and a few futher up but not Gore, Bush, Clinton, Biden, Obama, Cheney, McCain or even Palin.

I don't think we'll be blamed.

An attempt to point fingers at anyone but themselves, especially at the RP crowd for a lack of support, will simply contribute to the feed-forward loop of ridicule that the GOP has become. Should they lose the election it will be their own damned fault, and he GOP themselves will know it, their supporters will know it, and the rest of America will know it too.

Does this matter?!?!?!

yeah, they will always look to point the finger, but if it matters to them, than they should have catered to our needs as in point of views than doing what they want.

Wouldn't surprise me

Regardless of which side loses, if the margin is slim, chances are they will use 3rd parties as their excuse. FREE THINKER AND "SPOILER" ARE SYNONYMOUS TERMS IN THE MINDS OF REPUBLICRATS.

RP supporters probably will be blamed

but I wonder why the Democrats haven't used the riot police shootings with pellets and rubber bullets footage on Thursday night as yet.. The video clip I watched about it gave me that thought straight away... that's ammo for the Dems.

In other words, the RNC's overzealous security forces , and the whole GOP's attitude are doing a great job themselves for Obama to come out with flying colours.

I sure hope so.

I sure hope so.

I'm banking on it, anyway.

Bob Barr 08!

Nope

remember Nader also received votes from conservatives and Independents in 2000, not only from "left wingers". Also, Nader is running this year as well and if they want to say Barr/Baldwin is attracting "rightwing" voters, then Nader is counterbalancing that by attracting "leftwing" voters.

They did NOTHING to attract conservative-libertarians voters (just one sentence of rhetoric perhaps) and excluded Ron Paul. It is blowback time
for McCain & Co in November.
There is dissatisfaction with both major parties. If Obama is elected, it would much faster lead to the GOP going to its roots than if McCain would win.

The GOP can go to H3LL!

RonPaulLincoln
They deserve to lose after how they treated the Ron Paul delegates. It would be a different story if they let the delegates have their FAIR, EQUAL, and EARNED right to cast their vote for whom the people wanted them to vote for. I only have contempt and distain for the GOP!

Evidently, American values and freedoms are not a part of the GOP.

This is not the end. Keep educating your friends and neighbors about the R3VOLUTION!

I guess a 3rd party vote does count!

It is ironic that people vote for the lesser of two evils so as not to throw away their vote. I understand that if you vote barr, etc, you determine the election. You now have the power, plus, who cares. What's the difference between Obama and McCain anyway?

That is our goal.

about the best realistic hope we have is that Obama beats McCain by 6% points and Bob Barr pulls 7%.

Free and Brave
or Cradle to Grave
You can't have both

Absolutely, we will

Heck, I was accused of that a year and a half ago when I threw myself into supporting Ron Paul. I told him then and I still strongly think that it absolutely does not matter because the twin parties are going the same place and have been for years. They have totally proven over and over and over again in every election that they are heading in the same direction. A vote for one or the other is still a vote for CFR. I am not going to do that, no way, no how.

that is when...

the "Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul" shirts come in...

who gives a big sh*t , write in Ron Paul !

HYDROMAN

Good.

Let them realize it costs them to reject the liberty movement.

You actually mean to say...

...that 18 spammers in their mothers' basements can throw an entire election?

What?

I thought there were 24 of us.

I heard

there were only 12.....I guess that's what I get for believing the MSM.

First our votes are stolen ...

and now our votes can sway an election?? Wow; there's a message in there somewhere!

"Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul!" is what my new bumper sticker says.

all In have to say is .....

all In have to say is ..... so... blame away! lol

as for me and my home, we shall worship the LORD

I would'nt feel

any worse about that than a Mccain win and perpetual war. Blame away! We're Screwed '08 We just have to continue the C4L and put the rEVOLution in high gear. The best we can hope for with either of the nominees is people will wake up sooner rather than later when they realise what they have done by electing either one and join us in changing things. Who knows maybe it wo'nt take another 4 years if we stay vigilant and educate the sheeple and let them know they have the constitution to control thier government and they are'nt owned by them. We have work to do! Wonder if we could get a TV commercial? lol Public service message type thing ;)

That would be good. It would

That would be good. It would mean that they are admitting a small-government and non-aggressive foreign policy GOP would have won the election. So, they would have no choice but to adopt those policies the next time or lose again.

We're getting blamed for everything else

I wouldn't be suprised if Armageddon happens it will be our fault too. Be like me and care less.

You don't really

have to worry....I feel McCain is the chosen one! He will magically win.....and you know what I mean by "MAGICALLY"!

takeaction

My husband and I have said the same thing "MAGICALLY" Its been in the making for a while.

Do you ever feel like we are discussing an upcoming

"pro" wrestling match? Taking it all so serious, talking about popularity of the fans and debating whether or not the "bloody forehead" from the last brawl in the parking lot (never questioning why no charges were filed) delivered to the "good guy" will in any way hinder his performance, hanging on every word of smack talk exchanged in front of the camera to the "visibly shaken" announcers- all as if there is any element of chance, skill or luck involved other than that required to entertain and fool the cheering and jeering fans?

Live Free or Diebold

Who cares?

Before Ronald Reagan, the GOP lie was that a conservative could not win the presidency. After two Reagan landslides, all the liars in the GOP suddenly became "conservatives".

BTW, Obama is not going to win narrowly. Have you actually examined the Zogby 50 state interactive map?

http://www.zogby.com/50st...

In several of the McCain "safe" states (such as Arizona), Obama actually leads in the poll. However, some "Zogby staffer" has determined that this actually means McCain will win. McCain's lead in his "safe states" averages about four points, which is normally classified as "within the margin of error," In other words, almost all of McCain's "safe states" are actually "too close to call." Obama's lead in his "safe states" averages about 20 points; also Obama leads in virtually all the "too close to call states" generally by about four points. Not only that, but Obama won more primary votes, while losing Texas to Hillary Clinton than McCain, Huckabee and all the other neocon Republican votes combined.

Diebold notwithstanding, this won't even be close. If it is, and they get caught, when the Obama supporters get through with it, the Diebold offices won't have one brick standing on another; and, they should consider themselves lucky if that's all that happens to them.

oh well. . .

that's the way it goes. What difference does it make?

*shrug*

yup

my thoughts exactly. i suppose 4 years of socialism could in some ways strengthen our cause in some ways. but it could also hurt in some ways as well. people will become more dependent on government, more accustomed to the nanny state.

Who gives

a shit. Screw the GOP and the DEMS. They are the same fascist party and they hate us already.

Hey Big Mike - Daddy Warbucks - Oruval - Anyone ?

I know this is not with this post but last night I was following along with a post by Borisimo and it was about the Secret Service taking things from RP delegates and I followed along till about 11:30 PM eastern time and had to call it a night. I cannot find that post anywhere. I was waiting to see the video that he supposedly had on this which never came up.

Do you know what the final outcome on this was? Did this really happen or was it another BS story? I figure the latter. The post by Borisimo seems to have "Disappeared" as the so called video!

I appreciate your filling me in on this.

" In Thee O Lord do I put my trust " ~ Psalm 31:1~

I've seen a lot of posts about it and even one

that looked like a press release type thing. Not to mention I got the thing emailed to me by someone too. So it's hard to say.

I think we're on the right

I think we're on the right track. Patriots are always looked as villans at first but heroes at the end.

better us blamed for an obama victory

than our former hillary s'pportin' women folk supposedly jumpin the fence to palin as the explaination for a rigged mccain win.

Live Free or Diebold

Most Likely....

who really gives a rip? (said in peace and love)

no really, they probably will - and we in turn can just remind them
that the Elephant Party chose to exclude our choice for President
and excluded and turned away from us too ...
they alienated us - they treated our delegates and RP like dirt.

why would we want to vote for someone who our own candidate and
leader cannot endorse?

it might be a good thing for them to realize we made a dent in things -
as we continue to vote for Non Intervention and Peace and Liberty.
hopefully they will be able to tell that a whole lot more people voted
third party this year than ever before ... and see the Rep. decline.

we are the wise ones to vote for principle - to vote for and continue to
support the Freedom Message.

So yes, absolutely Vote 3rd Party in 2008!

maybe in 2012 things will be different - but we have to do what is
right - now!
