Alaska - what they say about Men, and Women

This is a little off topic, but since the Repubs have chosen Palin as their VP, I thought this would bring some laughter to some of you:
In Alaska the men to women ratio is 1 to 5, and it is said that:
As far as women go in Alaska, the men "don't lose their wives or girlfriends, they just lose their turn", and as far as the men go the "odds are good, but the goods are odd".
It's just a funny, please don't take offense. I lived in Alaska for over 20 years btw.

when I just was up in Alaska on Vacation, actually passed the governors mansion (Sarah Palins house) and boy, I did see some really beautiful girls there my age.....
