Towards the beginning of the show there was a comedy skit called "New Rules" where a bunch of people read short funny jokes and Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura were in it.
Ron Paul's line was hysterical and the audience laughed out loud.

That was funny. Though, now that I think about it, perhaps it shouldn't have been funny--- esp. Ventura's comment about Cheney . . .. Someone once said, we laugh at what we don't understand . . . ultimately, what scares us?

This is part of the "New Rules" segment so Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Jesse Ventura only have 1 line zingers pre-written for them. I'm glad they all went along with it though. Good fun. :)

It's really noticeable in this video -- RP is reading from a cue card; practically studying it, even. This just underscores how extemporaneous and off-the-cuff all his speeches are, as those are from his heart!
PS - he makes a very quick appearance near the very end of the vid, too.

he is having a good time these days. Carol is well on the road to recovery, the Rally for the Republic was fantastic and successful, he has accomplished far, far more than his intentions, his new C4L is rockin'. After 30 years of eating alone in Congress, now he is everyones "go to" guy. Things are good.
I will be waiting to see that!
