Seems that MSM only cares about New Orleans getting destroyed.
New Orleans dodged a blow from Gustav, the levies held. New Orleans is saved. MSM packed up the cameras and left town while the rest of Louisiana, especially Baton Rouge, suffers.

Remember LibertyAid.org
If you wish to help people affected by these hurricanes, remember: LibertyAid.org is up and running. Go to the site, click on the Salvation Army shield, and you will be taken directly to the Salvation Army's secure donation site for 2008 Hurricane Relief.
Please note, the LibertyAid.org webpage specifically indicates assisting with Hurricane Gustav (because that was the focus when the page was designed), HOWEVER, the linked page at Salvation Army is, in fact, for 2008 Hurricane Relief in general, not limited to Gustav.
If you have any questions about where and how your donations would be applied, please contact the Salvation Army directly.
Tell your friends about LibertyAid.org -- just another tool to show how people can help people, with having to rely on government to take care of us.
Hurricane Ike is on its way
New Orleans may be in for a helluva sh1t-kicking if the projected path, and strength, is correct for hurricane Ike.
I wonder if people will evacuate again, or whether they may say ... "we dodged the last one ... gonna stay this time".

Our fondest wishes. and our worst fears, are seldom realized !
The more deadbeats that are there, the more coverage
The msm doesn't want to show stories of people that are self sufficient. They only want to show where individuals have failed and government has protected them. Or stories where government failed, and then came back a wonderfully saved face. Fay dropped 3 ft. of rain just below cape Canaveral in Fl, not much of a story, all the flooding in the mid west this summer, a little bit of a story, Hanna is hitting the Carolina's right now, a little coverage.
Katrina hits a bunch of folks that the day before were partying in the street instead of leaving and it is a major story.
Did I miss the Mid-West flood riots??? When were they again?
Thank you Dr. Paul for making my act on what I already knew was right.
