And we did raise record amounts - but there are better things to do with your time and money now to continue the revolution - get involved with your local republican party - or any party - and help elect a pro liberty candidate in a local race in your neighborhood - go do it !

No ballot access now.
With only a month to go before election day, it is almost certain that all state ballots have been finalized and there's no way to add even a write-in candidate.
This pledge idea has merit as a show of support and affection for Dr. Paul, and maybe also as a media hook suggesting how many people might vote 3rd party, independent, or even uncounted write-in to protest the two wings of our corrupt one-party system.
I realize that ...however slim this may be.... but as he watches
our nation go down in flames.... he must be thinking inside his mind..." I wonder/wish I could do more..." then WHAM !! HE GETS THIS PETITION!!
He could easily campaign with Chuck Baldwin on the Constitution Party's ticket.. especially if all of their electors (CP party's) publicly state they would vote for him in the elector college, should he win each state.
Think of how many more Americans could be woken up!!!

I've been reading comments being made on some of these
political blogs. These blogs are either filled with paid political bloggers or they are full of a bunch of ignorant people. I hope it's the former, because if it's the latter, we are in real trouble.

People have been dumbed down and made dependent. Most can not even think of how to handle a problem - they always turn to government first. They are scared, complacent, and drugged, Welcome to the brave new world.
Your best bet is to hide your indepence and become one of the elites. Unfortunately, I have never been too good at brown nosing so i am here, screaming from the wilderness. It won't help though.

and your pain, but you must be kidding. Dr. Paul isn't offering himself, near as I can tell, anymore. We can't even all get behind a single third party. We can't reach the masses and let them know that Dr. Paul is a possibility, if in fact he is.

However, before we jump to that step, the BIGGER more important step must be made, and that is: OPEN THE DEBATES to all 5 or 6 candidates for the world to see and hear live!
If Dr. Paul were moderator, McCain and Obama would be lost without their media scripts and would have to come clean.
After these debates, it would be a no brainer for an en masse fundraiser from those of all stripes supporting Ron Paul for president just by his questions alone.

this petition is not going to be a deciding factor for him. Money bombs (I know, I know, this is NOT a money bomb) should never jump way out in wonderland and say "$100 million?" I saw one chip in that said the goal was $10 million and had received under $2500. Remember the later money bombs we had when we did not reach our goal, the goal was ridiculous and it caused a report/feeling of failure. Talk about discouraging a concept. Jdayh, you are a hard working character and I applaud you for that. Is your pride in check about knowing what the good doctor is going to announce??

I donated a lot to Ron Paul already...and probably will some more if he is actually going to be on ballots.
However, I will invest in myself: increase my education, enhance my communication and video skills, get better clothes, get my delegate-running speeches down, etc.
Also, I will invest in others like me.
You can't have a Revolution without foot soldiers...and the stronger the foot soldier, the better.
And frankly, I think most of us are all putting our eggs in the Ron Paul basket...and that is stupid as hell. Government is NOT the answer to the question "what would a free people do?"
