"Pssst! Do you think for yourself?"
To promote the Campaign for Liberty, Oregon Liberty (a.k.a. the Portland, Oregon, Ron Paul MUG) has created a new lineup of pocket-size business cards. To view the cards, go to:
Pssst! card previews - http://oregoniansforronpa...
As you'll see, each card focuses on a specific policy area, such as US foreign policy, the Federal Reserve system, etc. The cards are available for purchase here ...
Pssst! online store - http://liberty.biz.vistap...
... and our hope is that folks will find them to be as useful as we have.
The Pssst! project arose from our belief that perhaps the biggest challenge confronting the Freedom Movement is the grassroots' ability to effectively bridge the gap between the finest pro-freedom analysis/commentary and the general public. As the post above states, "Due to their small size and thought-provoking content, the cards are fun and convenient tools for spreading the Message of Liberty wherever you go!" In Portland, we carry some with us at all times, and give them away freely to anyone we encounter in our daily lives. It's an easy and inexpensive way to generate buzz, and we had a lot of success with this approach during the presidential campaign. (Just $120 for 5000 cards, with smaller quantities also available.)
So check 'em out and spread the word! And if you'd like to promote the Pssst! cards on your Web site or blog, just download the logos on the following page and embed the link to the store (see link above).

Sweet!
These will be very effective (as the Libertycards are) in sparking a flame or two among some sleepy citizens. I like to leave Libertycards at gas pumps, in waiting rooms and restaurants with business card boards.
This is great work on Oregon Liberty's part! Can't wait to order some!

Pssst! - MANY MANY WAYS TO USE THESE CARDS
.
I use these cards to begin conversations in the supermarket line, at the bank, at the gasoline station, at Starbucks, the dry cleaners, indeed everywhere I go.
Checkout clerks and bank clerks and even my "personal banker" and the branch manager are glad to have me break their routines and to receive something, a sort of personal gift, just for them to read "at break time."
After all, I care enough about them to share something that is important to me. That too says something.
I attach the cards to my checks when I pay my bills.
Seldom do people refuse a "ticket to freedom" when I hand them a card.
Since there are a number of different cards I carry a different card each day. The repetition also is useful and reinforcing, and since the pictures are different people look forward to seeing what's different or new on a second card or a third card a few days later.
The cards fit nicely into receipt slots on gasoline pumps and receipt slots on those relatively new parking meter machines, the ones that dispense a sticky receipt that you slap on the inside window of your car.
The cards also work well if you want to canvass your neighborhood or just stick one into the edge of the driver's side car windows when you happen to park your car in a parking lot or garage.
Conversations these cards initiate also give me a chance to meet people and get to know people I otherwise would never meet or speak with beyond the routine of each day. I'm making new friends and learning a great deal about the lives, struggles, and celebrations of just plain folks, people like me.
And don't forget to include a card with the credit card slip when you pay for lunch or dinner out, assuming you still can afford to eat lunch or dinner out. Just make sure you also leave a fair tip.

Someone
should come up with inserts for newspapers. It really worked for our business a few years back....Old ladies would line up for miles to save twenty bucks off of some SAS shoes!...LOL Anything we can do in order to get the C4L numbers up into the millions is what we need to be doing.
Great stuff!
I'll be ordering too...
Like your cards
Will bookmark the sight.

A Civil Liberties card may make people Think!
Attending the RNC, and seeing the suppression of free speech firsthand, I will be one of the first to order some.
I leave a few of these Psst! cards everywhere I go---in Airline terminals, the post office, tack them up on info boards by stores, etc.
Awesome!!

A 'good info'
Bump!
Important! Check this out! We used these cards at RNC
with good results. The price is right, and they are a good tool to promote the Campaign For Liberty.
They were my "weapon of choice"
After trying to strike up conversations and getting glared down at any whiff of "Ron Paul", I found a big smile, a card reached out, and saying I had a "Message for my Conservative friends" worked almost every time. People OUTSIDE the RNC were easy to talk to, but INSIDE, these cards were the only thiing I could get into the hands of McCain supporters.
