Another Option for Us to Actively Pursue

I just received this in an email:

"I'm sure we all wish we could do something to get rid
of those members of Congress who are violating their
oaths of office. Well, there is. In your next
election, run for your state Secretary of State.

What would that do? As Secretary of State for your
respective state, you can allow and prevent certain
members of US Congress to run for re-election, because
the Secretary of State controls who is on the ballot
in their state.

So, if you get elected to the Secretary of State
position, keep an eye on those in Congress to see who
is honoring their oath of office and who is violating
their oath of office.

Those who are violating their oath of office should
not be allowed to run for re-election."

I think it would behoove us to put pressure (lots of pressure) on the Secretary of State in our respective states to Not Certify the election of any incumbent who has violated their oath of office. "Washington, You're Fired!" is a film highly inspirational to making this happen....please watch it if you have not already done so.
So.......Who's In? Letters? Phone Calls? Visits? Let's do this!!

P.S. It is also through the Secretary of State office that we will be able to eliminate Diebold from our elections........

I think this is a great idea for the "housecleaning" we so desperately need...

yes yes and yes

there is a bill out there called the kernan/shepherd report which states that to save tax payers money, the elections of secretary, treasurer, auditor and sherriffs be relinquished and appointed by the governor who may appoint anyone from anystate he wishes. i think that is the gist of it. we MUST act now as we all know that these are our constitutional rights to vote these people in or out of office. as far as i know, this bill is only in the house in indiana, but if NOT MY MAN MITCH DANIELS gets re-elected, he will continue doing to Indiana what Bush administration has done to America. be on the watch people and spread the word.

shameless bump

shameless bump

I detest bumping my own

I detest bumping my own posts so this will be the last time I bump this one unless of course it generates some interest.
Please, please, please give me some input on this....I feel strongly that this is a strong and worthy option for us to pursue. I, personally, have been actively as well as vehemently pursuing this in our state and I am amazed at the number of voters who, like us, are sick and tired of politicians violating the very simple terms of employment we give them through their recitation of the oath of office.
