John McCain is actually leading in the polls 50-46%
This poll must be a mistake as the "experts" told us that Palin's selection would be a disaster. This kind of thing happens when liberal urban media millionaires only talk to other liberal urban media millionaires.
I swear I thought this was impossible....
Too bad I don't want either candidate to win.... but I would like to see them each defeat each other....
With which would it be easier for us to finally claim victory? Obama or McCain? I guess it doesn't matter since they have the same policies....

Why in the world?
Why is this post even here? The elections are OVER!

McGoiter
Lest we forget. Remember when McGoiter received the nomination. He went to Europe and received a huge donation from the Rothschild's via a fundraiser. Judicial Watch filed a complaint that he cannot receive foreign money to run a campaign for the United States presidency. That protest faded away like a Bush cabinet member. Since the Rothschild's only control over fifty percent of the world, my money is on McGoiter.... Let me remind you of Dewey vs. Truman. steelfab
McCain ahead in the polls?
Looks like the paid off pundits and media have been instructed to appeal to that "football team mentality" in the American voter... "Oh Crap! I don't want to be the loser! Better vote for that other guy."
Thanks again Ron Paul delegates!!!
weeeeeeee road to Hell is indeed paved with good intentions.
Stop attacking the delegates
Stop attacking the delegates, these guys/women went to the convention and fought for us and made the best decision they could in the situation. I question your motives. I would welcome these same people to once again be delegates for the simple fact that they got that far and now have seen the internal workings.

Some fought for us...
Others surrendered and abandoned their posts.
Stupid double post
I did NOT post twice
funny how
lindsey williams said that mccain will win the election , he also says that alaska has one of the biggest oil reserves in the world. maybe they picked sarah palin to shut her up about it. her being from alaska and all. something smells fishy and it aint her husband
It doesn't matter which
It doesn't matter which candidate wins. Both are guns n' butter superliberals.
SUPPORT OUR FOUNDERS' AMERICA
Support the Constitution of the United States
yes,
but, the powers that be, seem to prefer McCain.
I think after the debates
We will see a big Obama/Biden bump. If only Baldwin or Barr could be there. They wouldn't get any questions of course, but it would surely bring a little spark to the jingoistic platitudes characteristic of the other candidates.
Poll for your enjoyment.
.
Thanks for the laugh.
There is absolutely no way this could be accurate. Maybe that is the percent of Republicans voting for McCain. lol
I prefer another poll
On this site -
http://www.jbs.org/
Baldwin and Barr are beating the pants off McCain and Obama :)
If only the rest of America were as educated on the issues as JBS members.
polls are overrated. I have
polls are overrated. I have yet to be contacted for one.The majority of the people work for a living.
It is obviously
100% due to the Palin-factor. The political honeymoon period between McCain and Palin will be over in the next few weeks, at the latest when she has a serious interview or with a Biden-Palin debate at the latest, and then we will see. Palin will be "confronted" with her admiration for Ron Paul in February this year, as well as with her foreign policies and her differences with McCain.
There are only two months
There are only two months (TWO MONTHS!) for her to be shown as a person wholly different than the sham facade presented at the GOP convention.
The "bounce" the GOP is currently enjoying will be fleeting once the debates get underway. I stand by my claim that ultimately Obama will win.
Now I'm Laughing
Of course the public prefers an "unknown" candidate to anyone they know. Her popularity will wear off.
IMissLiberty
Maybe
but she was said to have an 80% approval rating in Alaska going into this and they obviously know her better there. She might just have a super-likable personality that endures, media spotlight notwithstanding.
Propaganda
Polls in my opinion are propaganda pieces. Every poll I have ever read always has a disclaimer that it "isn't scientific". Every poll I have ever read has a + or - margin of error percentage. Those who count the votes decide an election. Those who count the polling numbers decide a poll.

Take Back Your Country!
Ignorance is Bliss
Think how many times McCain was up and down in the polls. And the back and forth on the Democrat side.
The public likes the candidates based on the most superficial of considerations. As time goes on, they find out too much to continue liking them.
Ron Paul is unique in that the more you find out about him, the better you like him.
IMissLiberty
Nearly 2 months before Nov 4....today 50% to 46%, tomorrow...
is another day. ;p
Things change...there is talk in the net that Palin might be out by Oct...
Hey, don't forget the big announcement by RP @ National Press Club with Baldwin, Barr et al...
Something BIG is gonna happen methinks...
When "actually" isn't actually actual
Actually™ -- a registered trademark of Spin'EmAndReap Polling Company, LLC.
There's no "actually" other than what pollsters claim. Merely announce a poll result as accurate, and the job is done. Perception is reality.
Just because a poll is announced that the emperor is wearing clothes doesn't mean that he is. Of course, it doesn't mean that he's isn't, either; most "professional" polls simply have no link whatsoever to reality.
I pause to recall that it wasn't that many months ago that
McCain had to carry his own baggage at the airport and use commercial transportation, like the rest of the proletariat, because his finances were imploding on him. A few months down the road, with a bit of help from this or that well-connected person, and he's the GOP nominee and he's actually, alleged by the article mentioned, ahead in the polls. This situation has its own distinct aroma.

So they say
I wonder what the real numbers are 94% for obama I bet.
McCain still behind
He's still behind Obama in projected electoral votes.
http://news.yahoo.com/ele...
I also think the projections are WAY off. I expect minority voting to set records this year.
It doesn't matter to me.
It doesn't matter to me. McCain will destroy America by overspending on military ventures, and Obama will destroy America by overspending at home and possibly on military ventures as well.
The way I look at it, this could be a positive. In a way, electing Obama would be like dethroning the Emperor before he can complete the Death Star. I mean, as long as we live in the Empire, we might as well give the Emperor a fighting chance to finish the Death Star. Electing Obama would be like electing Jabba the Hutt to be the new Emperor. Okay, but we're still the Evil Empire.
It's probably true...
a post-convention "bump". Go to the Zogby electoral map, and actually look at the numbers. Obama's average lead in his "safe" states is about 20%. McCain's is about 4%, which is normally within the margin of error.
Obama presently leads in several of the "Too close to call states" by 4 points. Obama / Biden "safe" states, 260 electoral votes, 10 shy of victory. McCain / Palin "safe" states, 173 electoral votes. Who has less ground to gain?
It ain't even close.
Awhile back there was a very interesting video
posted here showing how easy it is to rig a poll to your liking. Not only that, but I have attempted to take several polls, but my personal option was not included, so I did not vote....that type of poll would not show the "true statistics", either...
This is absolutely pitiful.
This is absolutely pitiful. If McCain wins by default because Obama was a poor choice anyway, we still lose and McCain will think he is the greatest thing since slice bread. Obama is just dumb and not ready to be president either. He applied for a job that he is not qualified for and McCain applied for a job that he thinks he deserves and will suck at. I had a dream, "the Maverick" won and as soon as he was in office, he made a "go it alone decision" and passed amnesty to all the illegals. And then there was an outcry. I'm really trying hard to lower my expectations of lazy Americans that want to be part of "the winning team" and causes us all to lose in the end. Like Ron Paul, I'll keep pushing forward knowing one day we will see the fruits of our labor!!! Lowest winning margin will definitely make a statement if we can get many to vote 3rd party.
My husband is caving in to McCain because he doesn't want Obama to win. He's telling me that I have to vote McCain. Well he wished he had never said that to me. He now knows that he is a pitiful weak follower without independent thinking and no cogones to stand strong by his principles and beliefs. And yes he still wants to stay married to me. I wont back down from anyone that tries to sell me this lame excuse to vote for pathetic candidates. I told him that he disappointed me. Talk about head hung low in shame! I told him not to pass those genes to our kids :)
All I can say or think right now is...
How would Jesus vote? I think it's clear he wouldn't vote for either of these mainstream candidates. I'm voting 3rd party no matter what.

I can't decide which one of
I can't decide which one of these two I want to see lose more, but I do know, which ever clown wins, I would like to see them win with the lowest vote total ever. To me, that is the best we can hope for and what we should all be trying to make happen. The only way to do that is to get everyone you can to vote for a third party - any third party!
I don´t believe those polls
for a second.
